I watched both

As far as I'm concerned, my only sister is 5 years older than me, and I don't have a daughter, but if I did I don't really see anything that inappropriate from Beyonce's video.

Yeah she shakes her butt here and there, but that's what one would expect from Beyonce. She has a nice body and shows it off (if anything there was some nice choreography throughout the video).

Her clothes weren't that bad compared to other women you see in most rap/hip hop music videos. It looks like a semi-conservative (obviously not full cause the legs were showing) swimsuit to me. I didn't see her gyrating on someone's dick or anything, in fact it was more dance than anything (maybe one or two parts where she really broke it down into some sexy leg spin moves, but hey i'm a 21 year old male that's the kind of shit I don't really mind - which is the target audience she was appealing to I'm assuming compared to swift's love story which seems to be A-O-K in a lot of conservative christian's book)

Even if I was a parent, and if my daughter wasn't old enough to watch either video, I would definitely be labeled as a bad parent to a bunch of pretentious douchebags who thinks that they are the only ones who know how to raise a child because of whatever fucking good religion that they belong to (even though studies show that there are more teen pregnancies in religious states -- source: http://news.yahoo.com/s/livescience/...eligiousstates)

Someone reading this might say why all the angst against religious people? Well for one I remember that Ronny is a christian being on a squad with him. And secondly, the people who complain about provocative music videos usually tend to be from some highly religious background. Personally I believe that if you force your son, daughter, or whoever else of youth to not do something, not watch something, not listen to something, not read something because you might find it disturbing will only push that youngin to go do it. Kids are smarter than most people think, they have the ability to understand and comprehend but most parents don't realize that and sugarcoat a lot of things for them so when they do grow up and get familiarized with these things, they are shocked and perturbed and quite possibly ruined mentally and emotionally (I'm not just talking about sexy music videos, but death, sex, and drugs and what have you).

I'm not advocating you should immediately tell these things to your kid ASAP, but you shouldn't avoid it when the situation comes and you have to offer a clear cut choice on the actions that they might take irrationally because of whatever reason (rebellion, curiosity, etc...) that offers reward or punishment for what they choose to do.

Just my 2 cents that's worth 100000000000000000000 peso's.

I support civil disobedience, but it should be backed by a ’cause’ and should not impact people who aren’t at fault. The awards are not decided by some academy or elitist organization, they are popular vote. So who was he protesting about? All the teenage girls who liked the teeny angst video and voted for it? And why screw with Taylor Swift? She didn’t have any fault here, he could of jumped up just as they came back from a commercial or something.
My opinion is he fucked up bad trying to make a point that was moot anyway and ended up looking like a moron. I dont think his career will be helped either, Hip Hop personalities seem to have career rises when they screw with each other, not some silly little white girl.
