By the way, for all of you clamoring for people to post their character names, if you're also saying that the names don't matter, then why are we even going down this road? I also enjoy the fact that you guys are acting like if the only 2 names that come out are Dr. Strange and Thanos or someone, you won't vote on Thanos because of the name. If you seriously believe that the names don't matter at all, then what are we doing here? Like kthx said, day 1 used to be auto voting people like Xog or Jessup or whoever else, and talking a lot of shit to each other. We've had unprompted roleclaims either day 1 or 2 in the last few games consecutively, so lets not pretend like this isn't a trend that's been happening, and it's stupid as hell.

If you can imagine a scenario where Dr. Strange is mafia in a marvel themed game, more power to you. I can also tell you that my character is a town role, and it directly corresponds to what the character is in the movie, so I'm basing these thoughts on more than just a batman example.

If you don't think that throwing out your character name is the rough equivalent to role claiming in this format, I don't know what to tell you. This isn't a personal theme game with random names, you can draw conclusions with these character names.

I don't think claiming names is necessarily a bad thing but i also don't really see how much it can help either. Like it was listed Batman could be scum or town, giving us your name will simply just give us something to form a 50/50 speculation on. I think Willby did this intentionally for balance purposes, like he stated in his rules about pming and balance.

What could really help us out here instead is with your character, if you had to take a piss in public how hard would it be?
