Maybe I'm making the mistake of being guilty of reading too much into the flavor of the game, but when does Loki have much of anything to do with Mjollnir? Furthermore, Loki was the one leading the Chitauri or whatever in the Avengers, the exact movie this is supposed to take place during. So why is Loki fighting against the army he led, with a weapon that belongs to his brother that he currently hates, and also mentions "the enemies of Asgard", when Loki has just famously betrayed Asgard and tried to help the actual enemies of Asgard infiltrate it?

Is this just Willby taking creative license and changing some things? It seems like a hell of a lot of changes to make to me.

Is there a reason that Jessup can't come out and roleclam Thor? I mean the writeup is all about Mjollnir or however you spell it, Thor's hammer. He keeps saying he's the narrator, what is so hard about admitting to being Thor and going from there? This could have all been put to rest several pages ago. Also, if you PM 3 people, you have no idea of their allegiance. A decent mafia player could turn this into 2 lynches. On the off chance Jessup is telling the truth, if 1 or 2 of the people PMed are in the Mafia, they can just give different information or deny getting a pm or whatever and Jessup gets lynched day 2, and for today's phase they can try to turn everything on a townie.

This 3 pm on day 1 thing sounds like a decent idea at face value, but if you spend 1 second thinking about it it deescalates into a fucking shitshow.

Also, a ton of you have come out saying that you don't think names reflect powers or affiliations in this game at all. From Will's write up, do you know for sure what affiliation the narrator is? So if the point of view changes, what are you going to be able to tell other than hints about the character name? Is that useful information or not, consensus earlier was that it doesn't mean anything.

Finally, Jessup keeps hinting at some kind of power and who wants that power, what the hell is that? If it has already been given away, just tell us what the alleged power is, I don't see any point in keeping that a secret anymore.

To summarize, there have been pages and pages of opportunity to substantiate literally anything, and Jessup has refused. If any of these questions were answered, and you are town, maybe we could have moved on and found scum. At this point, Jessup getting lynched is Jessup's fault regardless of affiliation, because this refusal to stop hinting at nonsense and just substantiate something is one of the most asinine things I've seen in this game in a long time.

My power I was talking about was who I choose to be imitated in the narrative.

I chose The_Paul to imitate for the narrative. I will learn his identity tonight and be using my night shot as protection to ensure my safety if I survive today. This now negates those who I sent pms from any undue pressure this may put on them. Everyone equally knows now.

Why would you not pick whoever roleclaimed Dr. Strange, so you can actually see if they lied about who they are? If they're going to lie about their identity on day 1 ahead of time, they are probably scum. That would have been what I would have done.

Interesting. I've been mulling removing my vote on Jessup as well, but didn't it occur to you that he could be scum and his scum buddies thought of it for him? With the caliber of players in this game, there are at least one or two highly capable mafia players on the scum team.

On another note, because I have the sneaking suspicion that Jessup is telling the truth about his role but not his win conditions, if he switched affiliation to someone else in the Mafia knowing their role will lead to me being lynched, let me add this hint to help me out tomorrow if this happens. I am definitively not a superhero or superbeing or whatever else you want to call it. Keep that in mind if Jessup was coached to try to bamboozle us and railroad me tomorrow.
