6 people made completely inconsequential votes. It sucks that Halp was town, but the whole situation with him and Backwards was shitty too. Would have been ridiculously easy to force a no lynch or go a different direction, but 6 people voted for someone by themselves.

Anyone making a scum list without including a single one of those 6 is being disingenuous and scummy as fuck.

ive been unable to (read: totally able, just lazy) really dive in over the weekend, but i was under the impression that the halp situation was more or less something of a policy lynch, and had i been more active / had it been a superclose vote, i would have voted to lynch him as well. and

...and i just realized you are saying scumlists *should* include ppl on the halp train. cuz yeah, free kill for mafia i guess. i figured after fields post, halp might not fight a lynch too hard because the second the game gets close, or even after it is concluded, you know someone would use him as an excuse to throw some mighty bitch fits.

I think you completely missed my point. Yes, a day 1 lynch usually is a townie lynch. But, this Day 1 lynch was a townie lynch where scum can just scream "policy
lynch!" as their reasoning and hide behind that. It was a free kill WITHOUT anyone being able to analyze voting patterns on Day 2 of them really having to answer for their vote on Halp... they can all just say "policy lynch" and everyone just seems fine with that. That was a Day 1 scum dream. And the fact that you don't get this simple strategic fact is evidence to me that you're either a) dumb or b) scum who is trying to deflect what I am pointing out, which really can't be argued with.

Backwards already addressed this, but his vote was on Halp immediately after game started. The fact that he did not change his vote though, especially considering he was involved in this whole IRL conflict of interest and knows Halp IRL, is actually highly indicative of him being possible scum to me. Especially that combined with his last "play dumb and deflect the facts" post. He may have shot to the top of my scum list now.
