I had no idea Beast had claimed a protective role. When did that come about? Beast has always been sus to me until it seemed possible for him to be a jester. Now that jester has been debunked by popular opinion (and just being a terrible role to throw in a game), my suspicion is back on him. When did he say he was protective? The only thing I can turn up is he said something to the effect of "the longer I stay in the game, the more scum and third party will drop" - to me this says he has a weapon, or is just boasting in his VT ability to get the right people lynched.

I don't know if I need to remind anyone, but Beast has claimed a powerful role he dare not name, then later claimed to have no special power. To me that's shifty.

The only one that comes to mind is the one with 4 numbered points you made that I addressed with bolded words in the quote code. I don't really think you'll be convinced by anything I've got to say, so I'm done trying with your vote.

I had completely forgotten about this, and it is compelling. Fuck me if I almost died trying to protect a scum member day 1, but at least we got the mafia roleblocker as a tradeoff if this is the case. Looking forward to hearing what Beast has to say today

maybe if you were paying attention to the thread, you would have known many pages ago I said my true nature, and role, why so interested in it all of the sudden? there's only two logical explanations, either i'm the actual godfather, or i'm just a boring townie. Take your pick.

I think you're right about this as well. We have a dead cop and a dead weaponsmith. For the sake of argument, let's take PF at his word that his role was sort of like a metal detector and he wasn't handing out guns, which basically makes him a second cop.

This is a different game for sure. I know I've played with Edify long ago but that was literally over a decade ago probably, and now we have Kassius and Hookecho who are wildcards. I do feel that Kassius is a little too good for a newbie so far, but I highly doubt that's from coaching from the scum team unless people are literally pre-writing his posts for him - I bet he has experience in similar games on other platforms and has not yet been forthcoming about it. Either way, they are people I can't really use prior knowledge on and it makes me nervous. Kind of cool, though - this is more what mafia is supposed to be.

What I do want to restate is that somehow the scum
team let one of their most powerful roles get lynched on Day 1. I know it all happened in a short time frame but I can't help but turn to Kthx as a sub and figure if PF wasn't scum (who knew?), that he is.

I'm not really sure what just happened between voth and vehicle, but the underlined part is the closest thing to expressing my thoughts on who to vote on. And again, is it really fair to Wark? No, not really, he hasn't necessarily given me a reason to think he's scum by his play. This is the only reason that I haven't already voted him, I'd prefer to hear the thoughts of others and find another vote that I can feel better about.

Can only take it as a compliment the comments I'm getting about my play. I'm winging this best I can lol. I wasn't prepared in the slightest for this, I think if I started again I might keep a notebook next to my PC to jot down thoughts and analysis to keep on hand because this gets real convoluted really quickly. I like reading the posts from Vehicle and the_paul, shows some proper analysis that I'm trying to absorb.

Edify I cba to go back and re-quote me challenging you on all your false accusations for a second time, you know you did it and I was just asking why. The fact you won't share your reasons for the baseless shade throwing is all I need, and anyone else that was keeping up on this can make their own conclusions too.

Paul, I'm sorry I pointed the finger your way, you're %100 right. Day 1 last minute voting on backwards went Exalt, then Voth, then Paul, with Paul being the deciding vote. As we've discussed at length, it seems absurd that the mafia would lynch their own RB on Day 1 simply for cover. I had forgotten about that series of events when I was mulling my vote this morning.

The last-minute switch to backwards kept Beast from being lynched and it happened in the 11th hour in quick succession. Backwards died with 3 votes while others (including Beast I believe) had 2 on them. Exalt was town and started the votes, followed by Voth and Paul.

Both Voth and Paul switched from Beast to backwards when there were other people with one vote who they could of nailed and just left Exalt's vote hanging on backwards. But paul was the deciding vote.

Therefore, I have come to the conclusion that Paul is town. (As previously stated, I also believe Voth to be town but not with the same conviction as I now believe paul.)

I had given ixt the benefit of the doubt because he roleclaimed out of the blue when there wasn't really any pressure on him. Counter to my earlier post, I now believe ixt was doing that to try to keep pressure off him and get the Townie stamp of approval early in the game. Not only is he scum, he's also a liar.

Also I should have listed Ixt and Beast in my suspicious of list, since both have claimed to be protective roles, but our claimed town cop didn't survive the night. Ironic since I stuck my neck out for Beast day 1, but here we are.

As much as Halp comes off like an inactive tardmuffin too, he is a skilled mafia player and crushed it a few games back as a third party if I remember correctly. I do tend to remember how people play, and I remember Halp being a super AFK townie because he is just bored. Why are you posting more than normal? Quarantine or...?
