Where do you find that definition? Sounds more like an inventor to me. A gunsmith is a type of cop that determines if someone they investigate has a gun. Only mafia members do typically. Here's a probably terribly formatted copy and paste from the mafia scum wiki:

The Gunsmith is an information role that can target a player at Night to learn if they have a gun in flavor.

This is what I've been going off of as well, with the obvious mod to make it gives Yes responses for knives and other weaponry. It makes the most sense to me for him to summarily call it a cop because it identifies if a person has a weapon. Normal folks don't have weapons so it acts in a similar way to the investigative nature of the cop role. I don't feel like it lines up with the mafiauniverse definition at all, but the only one that's going to be able to explain concretely what a Weaponsmith is would be Willby.

Since it was asked, PartyFalcon did get subbed in during N1 (04-17-2020, 05:50 AM PDT) and that could just mean that Willby sent the PMs at the time. It is very possible he made a night action, though his first post was made well after the change to D2 (04-18-2020, 08:28 PM PDT), citing work reasons and being busy for the past 36 hours. Pretty inconclusive.

I've lost a bit of steam on who to point fingers at after the activity of the last couple days. Hopefully ixt, Kassius, and Exalt are who they say they are and have more info for D3.

This game has been a clusterfuck, this might be the perfect first game honestly. Vehicle is right though, generally better to do something like this first thing in the day phase. All good though, only 1 way to learn

I guess what we can say with absolute certainty here is that we have no idea what Partyfalcons role entailed. Could be one of a few things. Either way, I guess we will find out tonight. Shouldn't be more than one kill now with Dressup dead unless there is a JOAT, or as you guys said, if PF gave someone a gun somehow.
