Conference call got delayed 15 minutes, that should be enough time:

Hello my fellow townsman, my name is Vehicle and I am your town psychic.

My role didn't kick in until three people died so last night I had my first vision. It works like this:
Odd nights: you receive visions of three players, at least one is evil
Even nights: you receive visions of two players, at least one is good

The key words are at least. So I got two names last night, at least one is good but they both could, in theory, be good.

So who came to me in my sleep last night? Why it was Jessup and Kassius of course!

This is why I didn't insta-roleclaim at the beginning of the phase. I was typing my claim up when Kassius claimed survivor so I asked ixt if neutral counted as good or bad and he said neither. It seemed highly unlikely that people were going to vote Kassius and with Voth gone I expected Jessup to survive the phase so I was going to wait until tomorrow to roleclaim because the odd-night information is going to be more actionable I think but now I'll probably be dead by then.

Basically: If you believe Kassius's claim, then Jessup is confirmed town.

That's all I got. And, as is tradition in mafia games I play, I'll die tonight for telling you.

Interesting. Another role I do not remember. Per ToS wiki, kassius's role would be classified as neutral benign, which counts as good. This is conflicting with what ixt told you, which means I think he gave us too much information, and if we believe vehicle, jessup must me town. As for Kassius's claim, I strongly believe the survivor claim, as there isnt (yet) another explanation for no kill (mafia didnt target me)

Agreed, I don't think they were ever near the top of the list, but they're both definitely off my radar for the time being. The only reason for Kassius to lie about a survivor is if he's scum anyway, so Jessup is certainly at the bottom of the list if you believe Vehicle. I am inclined to believe Veh, because if I were him trying to fake claim, I'd definitely pick a less exhausting fake role. Although it would be a good way to cause tons of confusion among town. But, still exhausting. Also, if the claim is true, tomorrow's names are going to be when all hell breaks loose.

I know I'm going to end up having to fend off the attacks for this, I was hoping someone else would do it first.

Also to reiterate what paul had said to kassius, it is highly unlikely the scum all stacked on Voth. My estimate from night phase leaves us with one scum between kthx, PF; one scum between exalt, apoc; one scum being paul. Hmm.

Regardless of if vehicle is lying or not, we should leave him around for another phase to see what he digs up. Mafia has to choose if they want to confirm jessup by killing him tonight or if they want to leave us questioning him, with a strong lead on scum.

It's reasonable to think that there are 3 or 4 total scum this game, and that they did not move to last minute lynch backwards. I would estimate that there is at least one scum on the Voth train, one scum from early on backwards, and possibly one scum between exalt/apocalypse wow.

Based purely on the vote, I'm looking at kthx, vehicle, beast, jessup. Kassius is either playing really well as scum, or is inno. PF a bit, but too afk. Not too worried about exalt. Apoc is more suspicious. And unless paul sac bunted backwards AGAIN, hes town

See when I say you are scummy, this is what I mean. The mafia would be VERY interested in who I'm protecting tonight, because it doesnt look like they can really afford another kill-less night.

But I'll indulge you, because WIFOM is a fun game to play. At this point I have too many people to protect to pocket someone. My goal has to be to prevent a kill on one of our claimed townies, even if I die.

There are 2 people I wont protect tonight- myself, because I cant, and kassius, as he isnt a townie so I dont really care if he lives or dies. Plus he has his own vests.

Claimed and worth protecting are vehicle and beast. Vehicle is arguably more worth it, as he has higher potential to catch scum, with our 1/3 coming tomorrow. So I should protect vehicle.
But, this could be an elaborate lie, and is it really worth giving up a watcher, when a scum kill on vehicle confirms jessup. So I should protect beast.
It isnt quite that simple though is it! This scum team has thus far chosen to avoid people who are likely to be targeted at night (Epic Li, Kassius). So maybe I should protect a random town read like jessup, because scum really cant afford another failed.
But, Jessup is doing a lot of work for the scum team, so shes a bad target for night kill, and therefore a bad target for protection. So its up to you scum team, you choose a cup, then we drink.
