    I'm naming albums, not songs

    McLusky - McLusky Do Dallas

Clutch - Pure Rock Fury (warning: has a few crappy tracks)

edit: messed up the album name, thanks face

      Cheers crv,

The Cooper Temple Clause are indeed a class act, Kick Up The Fire And Let The Flames Break Loose is the cd you have been waiting for, and I currently own Blues For The Red Sun by Kyuss sporting an extremely nerdy Homme and surprisingly hairy Oliveri on the back sleeve. I've been meaning to check out Sunny Day Real Estate, I'll have to whore out concs pc on soulseek again. My Dad likes Finger 11 (but he also likes LostProphets so I've always been a bit dubious) and their cd is downstairs so I'll bust it on now. And consider those rock masterpieces liberated from Soulseek, pj

The McLusky album is McLusky Do Dallas, PJ, but that album is sweet.
Also, I'd check out Fall Of The Plastic Empire by The Burning Brides, which is sort of in your garage rock vein. Rocket From The Crypt is pretty sweet, the new-ish one Live From Camp X-Ray is pretty catchy. Most eveyrone has heard Spoon I think, but if you haven't A Series Of Sneaks is worth checking out. After about a year you'll hate it, but the first zillion times I heard it I liked it. The Detachment Kit - They Raging. Quit Army. is pretty good, but I don't think you'd like their new one as much.

edit: and if Jason hasn't already gotten to you definitely check out The Unicorns
edit2: also get Mission:Control! by Burning Airlines

I could hook you up over Soulseek tomorrow...I have here with me

Amplifier whole record on cd (ez to grab it on hd)
                    Oceansize one album, not first
4 songs from Sunny Day Real Estate
                    Sky Valley cd
Isis - Oceanic (heavy melodic drone/doom kind of music, it's rather good)
Floater - some songs from 2nd album I think (they're also good, sound type of Cooper Temple, but they've been around longer)

                    I'm Voodoo Toad on Soulseek.

If you haven't already, give Pitchshifter a shot. They have an "edge" to them, but they're still quite accessible.

EDIT: PJ, two things. One, Clutch fucking rocks. Two, what the HELL is with that avatar?

i think somebody should make a thread where we post our Soulseek names, and gank music from everybody else.

Rage Against The Machine has a few good ones!
I think Wake Up and Killing In The Name are the most well known, but not the best IMO.
