I'm one of the old school frequently active members of the community quitting because staff sucks.

The fact that this game even has STAFF to ruin it is preposterous in and of itself. I understand it was saved by the OGs, and that is commendable. But to be moving forward with just a few zones that allow this game to even be played, to be in the hands of a handful of people that alter and mutate it past the original OG resuscitation of the game, is just idiocy. The game should just be 100% self-contained, and you start an online multiplayer game, or a local multiplayer game with the press of a button and some settings windows and that's it. You are playing it. All the dev efforts fall short of this, and that's why it's still stuck in this kingdom. There's a passionate userbase that has kept it alive this far,...it would be a shame if it never got over that hump, and really did die one day.

this zone continues to be led by abusive idiots. they ban you for trying !p in multiple MMRs and i got no warning; its bullshit. and then i got a silence ban for telling everyone in pub; im officially quitting this game, i cant take the abuse anymore

For clarity, this player was never zone banned. He was MMR banned for 24 hours for floating in spawn for 2 entire rounds so he could type nonstop about how much "knowledge" he has. He was then silenced for 1 hour (by me) for sending the exact same content about how useful he was 15 years ago in zones that had 12 people, talking about "rubbing dicks on peoples chins" and how he's smarter than everybody else. He was then forum banned the following day for linking his lame "retirement" thread in every current active thread on here, hence all the identical links on the first page, as they were all merged into this thread.

It takes a special kind of stupid to get "disciplined" in 2023. Act like a moderately well adjusted adult at least some of the time and you probably won't ever have to deal with staff in any way that might be considered undesirable.

You should go to school and make something of yourself, instead of "disciplining" almost non-existent players in a practically dead game in 2023.

Was he actually banned? I didn’t think he had done anything to warrant a ban from the zone. Sure, any of the league ops can keep him out of twdt or mmr and the like, but not a zone ban. In general, I think he’s mostly been ignored to oblivion, sort of similar to the path you find yourself walking at times. Either do the things the way the competitive portion of the zone wants or risk getting cancelled, for lack of a better word. It is what it is and there isn’t any changing it at this point. Go along to get along or go away, pretty much the only options. You could also get extremely good at a ship or league, that would grant you leeway, but only if you do it in a traditional manner. You can’t pull a you and try to get a good rec by sacrificing the rest of your team by playing overly cautious.

sometimes before speaking out, it’s a good idea to read the room. This place isn’t fair to the folks that try to swim upstream, but it’s not going to change.

ROFL. Klean made the right choice if he was removed from MMR for being unpopular if he did nothing wrong besides piss off someone. Pretty sure he was a top 20 player in dd and jd and he was doing good too. He played the game since 1995 and has been canceled by a bunch of people who are friends with this guy. Enough said.

Can someone explain what the "on multiple levels" Klean-x was banned on and the reasons? Sort of out of the loop but confused how he got banned and for what reasons. Sure, Klean has a mouth but look around... everyone left does almost.

PS. This is why cubone should NEVER get any type of position of power or as a member of staff.
