How much do you people do in the Cooper test by the way?
I haven't ran it for 2 years but I did 2800 last time, should be about the same now I think.
edit: 2800 meters to make things clear. unit converter says it's 9186.351706 feet.

I'm usually pretty lazy when it comes to working out. I bicycled around 1000km during the summer though, and we go out to play soccer several times per week at our school. I've also began playing DDR - boy, 5 hours of dancing without pauses kills your legs
I have a traning program with my friend, but its kinda much to write, and I don't have the list with me so I'lle just say the days.. on: Tuesdays, Thursdays and on Sundays. Each day of the week has its own traning program.
I take my bike/bicycle to work, 2+ km, top speed would be 35-45 km/h. So I can cycle/bike as fast as a moped.. And yeah, its a mountainbike, I should hit over 50+ km/h with a real bike.
I do things like tossing backflips, fronthand springs, 540 kicks, flash kick and other of those tricks, with my friends.. Some times we go sneak out in the night on others yards, or jump at walls ie. climping on walls/over walls, getting up on roofs and hard places.
I walk alot with my friend, or at least use too..
So I do pretty much, except playing ss. Though I don't play that much, at min. 2 hours a day. Its kinda hard to get anything done when you haft to: play piano/keyboard, watch anime, eat, train your body, be with friends, read, draw, relax, work, play some cpu games/console games, chat, sleep. Thats my life in a little box I suppose, at least at the very moment. I'm sure I missed something out..
EDIT: ohh, after playing ss all summer.. ahh I already wrote that much! no way em I going to reconsider my whole post!
Anyway I don't play ss all summer.

The worst conditioning we have to do on the ultimate frisbee team at Cornell is a little event we call the 200 pride. You run/sprint a 200 on the track, jog a 100, run a 200, jog a 100... repeat. You start at a 40 second pace for the 200, after every 4th 200 you drop a second on the pace. If you miss the pace you're out, you go until you can't make the pace anymore, which basically means you go until you collapse. The goal is to get under 30 second pace, at which point you've already ran nearly 8 miles and now you're running at 4 minute mile pace on your 200's. We only do it once a year though.
The conditioning I hated the most though is when we go on a 4-5 mile run, return and then find out we are running the stadium, touch every step up and down all the way across the entire stadium then back. This is a full sized college stadium, brutal.
Typical conditioning is 5-8 mile run followed by about 60 pushups and situps. This mainly only takes place in the winter though when it's too cold to practice outside and we're preparing for the spring season. For the fall basically 0 conditioning, as the official college season doesn't start until the spring (random tournaments and club play in the fall).
Well, I went to this camp this summer, an academic one...and my dorm's college student that watches over us was the Harvard Ultimate Frisbee team Captain. His name was Jack and he told us about rock paper scissors deciding stuff and using "fire". A bunch of other college guys were from Swarthmore and Princeton and they all owned in Ultimate.
I hope you were joking panda, your conditioning is nothing....21 seconds for 120 meters? that's superrrrrrrrr slow...and 10 of those aren't tough...try some cross country.

Wanna know whats great about being a good hitter in Baseball?
All I have to do is work my arms 2x a week.
That's it. No cardio and no other conditioning. I work my arms, then leave.
I am overweight and out of shape, but I can fucking smack a baseball.
(note that I know nothing of baseball)
Shouldn't the batter also run after he hits the ball?
Working out the rest of your body woulnd't hurt. Mid-body helps a lot because hitting is a movement in which you twist your middle body as well as your arms
ps. you don't HAVE to do anything, best is if you want to do something you're not forced to.
