I thought that article may have been true for middle school, but as far as high school goes, there is no popularity (at least at mine). A few weeks ago a middle -schooler asked me if I was popular and I just laughed and told him that he shouldn't worry about it. At my school there are just a bunch of different groups that interact with one another, no one really "makes fun" of another clique.Originally posted by Vatican Assassini just wish it was longerOriginally posted by Copsit could have happened in the middle of a park at 2'oclock in the afternoon while your parents were at work and I followed you around all afternoon.

It's highschool, everyone will get made fun of at one point or another. You just don't get teased enough to hear about it.My father in law was telling me over Thanksgiving about this amazing bartender at some bar he frequented who could shake a martini and fill it to the rim with no leftovers and he thought it was the coolest thing he'd ever seen. I then proceeded to his home bar and made four martinis in one shaker with unfamiliar glassware and a non standard shaker and did the same thing. From that moment forward I knew he had no compunction about my cock ever being in his daughter's mouth.

thats completely the same with me. Well, kind of. The more popular groups are the ones with the most hot girls in them. While the nerd groups usually don't have any girls in them at all. I think certain people were basically born to be nerds, and they can't do much to change it. If you are an ugly kid, then you will probably become a nerd, unless you are very funny and/or you became friends with the popular kids early on. The groups in my school are kind of strange though. The groups with the most athletes aren't as popular as the main group of retarded pop-punk rockers with a posse of superficial girls. Yet the pop-punkers are hated by most other groups except for the thugs/stoners. And the thugs/stoners get along with almost any semi-popular group.I AM NOT AN ANIMAL

Though I have little to no social life at all, I feel the need to express my feelings in this topic. Labeling of any kind is wrong. By saying this group is different than that group and this group is better or cooler than that group is silly and sophmoric.
But then again, I'm in a gifted school with no friends and don't get out much. What do I know.Originally posted by Jeenyusssometimes i thrust my hips so my flaccid dick slaps my stomach, then my taint, then my stomach, then my taint. i like the sound.

For those that are out of college or actually work 9-5 jobs, would you say that there are still silly highschool traits that pop up in normal job atmospheres? I'm only in college but I still see people twitter around and act fake to just win the admiration of others. Backstabbing and bickering among friends is also apparent every now and then, and I was just wondering if it's more or less apparent in the regular workforce.
Basically, do enough adults act like children to make you not miss the childish antics in highschool? My father in law was telling me over Thanksgiving about this amazing bartender at some bar he frequented who could shake a martini and fill it to the rim with no leftovers and he thought it was the coolest thing he'd ever seen. - Most of the people who say they don't want to be cool have just given up
- Just because you post on this forum doesn't make you a nerd. Partially nerd, yes, but everyone's allowed to indulge themelves unless they're completely insecure
- Its not how educated or how fat or how weird you are, its how you interact with other people
- Labelling is probably wrong and evil but it happens so deal with it
- The stereotypical nerd is the one who spends most of his time calling everyone else nerds usually to deflect attention away from them, rather than just getting on with their life
- OK maybe its got something to do with how weird you are
