Don't take my post in anyway as Anti-Military, i have a bunch of friends currently enlisted, and a good friend of mine in the Marines has been called to active duty twice in the last year and he will go out again. He went to iraq and a bunch of other places, and or course if ur in the military u will be on the President's side thats what they teach u to do,..obey orders mindlessly no matter what it is.

And don't be so angry,. yah there are a lot of shitless bastards out there but the idea is to ignore them and live ur life the best u can and be as happy as u can cuz its too short to be upset and angry at the world.

This is true, i dont see it anti military, i dont know the opinions of my fellow shipmates, Im nowhere near the top to where i have to listen to GB's orders, I work on f/a 18's i just go where the jets go, iraq, ok there, japan, ok there, pakastan, ok there, carrier ok there doesnt matter, either way if kerry gets elected this war will go on, if bush gets elected it still goes on.

I feel horrible for the troops caught in the back door draft... this one solider did 8 yrs and many tours,.. and he put in for his leave... and now they want him to go back to Iraq.. so he got a lawyer and is trying to fight it.

I just don't want my friends dying...

We have barely lost troops from gunfire, most have died from suicide body bombers, and car bombs, there is no way to fight that because of our rules of ingagement, dont fire unless fired upon, how are they to defend themselves from some guy with c-4 straped on his chest or them driving by and blowing there vehicle up? I hope your friends make it back alright ross. May god be with them.
