Bush and co. proposed cutting the "imminent danger" pay by $75 a week, but backpedaled when the press got ahold of it and military families went apeshit. (how could you not know this if you're supposedly in the military?). Bush's 2003 budget also included a 25 billion dollar cut in veterans benefits.

If we went in, got saddam, and left, you think nobody would take his place? Saddam is the only leader in a really long time to actually keep some sort of order in Iraq. He's a bad guy, but at least the place wasn't in constant turmoil. I'm not saying he deserves to live, but if we did what you said, we would only be making it even worse than it already is.

Why would you think that Osama is in iraq? I'm pretty sure you're the only one in the world that thinks this. Why leave afghanistan for a country with even more US troops in it? you're just pulling shit out of your ass without even thinking about whether or not it even makes sense.

Yeah he's got the money and it would be the most likely thing he'd do, the hunt for Osama Bin Laden is not over and it will start again in the future, it's kind of sad they got rid of Saddam Hussein well destroying an organized government. The plan should have been to take Saddam out from the inside and then Iraq would rejoice in his death and unite. So now there's one more loose terrorist and one ruined country, it's safe to assume that no president could fuck up as bad as this one did.
