I'm excited for this new U2 album to come out, as much as World of Warcraft. Perhaps it's just because I like new stuff from older artists, but am I the only one?

On the whole Les Savy Fav was just that bit too weird for me, and I've OD'd on Franz Ferdinand, seen them 3 times and heard their cd 3 million times

No albums were released in 2004, except antics.
                            There were, however, monstrous disasters.

Seems like a bit of a bad year when I'm listing The Streets in my top 3. Although I have to say I hardly searched for new bands this year + llistened to Wilco basically all spring and summer (their previous albums are better tho, but I don't feel like listing Interpol as first because it wasn't that awesome.)

                              Top 8

                              1. Wilco - A Ghost is Born
                              2. Interpol - Antics
                              3. The Streets - A Grand Don't Come for Free
                              4. The Libertines - The Libertines
                              5. Dizzee Rascal - Showtime
                              6. Air - Talkie Walkie
                              7. Franz Ferdinand - Franz Ferdinand
                              8. Totally not 2004, but I actually started listening to Shakira last summer, I found it awesome. (perhaps I do fit into Disoblige somehow -_-)
