Like I said- not a competition between canada and the US. Just pointing out you said canada's economy would be shit without the US, you might have a good economy but your country owes how much in debt?

face it Volcs, you are dead wrong on this one. Canada needs the US and the US needs Canada. NAFTA has only made the trade more important. I gurantee you the electricity is not free. It comes with a cost. The debt does not affect our ability to trade and produce since the debt is the gorvernments and not the private citizens. As long as the govt. stands the trading will continue. Now please say you are sorry about being wrong and continue with this thread which again amazes me how people can't see people for individuals which we all are. Ignorance has gathered to many into its fold.

Did i not JUST say 'this isn't a competition' ? I know it's a mutual need, Canada is extremely reliant on the US for things like military, and the US needs the electricity we give them. If we didn't have the US for defense, we'd probably have a better defense. If Canada didn't give the US electricity they'd find it from other sources. I like the relationship the US and Canada have when it comes to everything except war :\

I never said the government effected your ability to trade and produce, I was just saying that you may have a better economy, but your country is in immense debt.
