Okay currently the servers are ass, and I can't even get on the log in server to pick out my server. When I did earlier, my server wasn't even on the list (Lightning's Blade), looks like I'm forced to play Cont tonight.

We (beatdown brigade) did East and North wings, so highborne and satyrs, but had the instance server crash right as we killed the demon dog thing. The lowbie area is kinda lame, but the highborne area is rather nice. The whole thing screams bring a warlock, so just a heads up.

Actually my friends decided to go alliance, so I went with them.. made a NE Rogue, my alt is an undead priest though. Nah, my build isn't a 21/8/22, im not really a fan of relying on timed abilities with preperation, I use a 30/8/13 build with Seal Fate. As for your 21/2/28 build, im assuming you keep the sword in your main hand correct? I'd say that's one of the better sword builds you can have, thats a sword build with versatility. The common swords builds are probably 21/30/0, 30/21/0, 21/2/28. I find it much tougher to get an opening attack on another rogue if you don't have Mod5, so if you decide to go down the Sub tree, always take Mod over Camo. But yeah, thats a good build.

I did the demon dog thing with Rage members (ps, good call on the split, these guys couldn't stop from aggro'ing everything in a 10-mile radius) but haven't killed the actual demon dog yet.

We were about to do the demon dog last night, but it crashed on us as well... damn some of those elementals guarding the magic field are nasty.. they start with an r, forget their names.

So I'm probably gonna go get WoW.... I'm just curious about the different Servers. Are you able to switch over to different servers if you are not happy with the ones you are on? or are you potentially stuck on one server until you make it a specific spot in the game?

Right now, there are only a select few servers where you can bring your character from a current server to another, however, most of the pvp servers are not capable of this switch. By the time you develop a character enough to find out if you're going to like the server or not, WoW will have made it so that you can switch characters between almost all servers. You can however, start a character over on ANOTHER server, you aren't limited to just one. Also, you cannot create both a horde and alliance character on the SAME server.... unless of course you buy two accounts... which some people sadly do.

Your sure about that creation of horde and alliance on the same server paul? Since i did it, however on a "normal" server, not PvP.

I'm sure this has probably been asked already... and I'm too lazy to read back on all the posts. But what is your character? and what server are u guys playing on? It'd be nice to play with a few similar ppl as SS.

Level 60 Troll Priest on Lightning's Blade... a medium sized PvP server, Alliance out number the Horde, but the Horde currently have accomplished more PVE wise, so it's all really balanced out. It's a tight server, where almost all the levle 60s know each other (like a lot of people know each other on cont), and there is next to no down time, except when the horde raids Iron Forge, which with the current servers, cannot be done without a server crash and a rollback.

Doesn't it give you the option of deleting a character if you decide you want to create a different one, possibly using a different race/craft?

There is no reason to delete a char, you can have up to 10 different chars on one server and a total of 50 characters over all the servers.
