I worked in a French Fry Factory. Beat that.

11.16 an hour, hypocritical workers, short breaks.

12 hour shifts. 2 shifts 7am-7pm, 24hrs off, 2 shifts 7pm-7am, 96 hours off. rinse and repeat.

gotta sleep during the day for night shifts, which is close to impossible most of the time.

Only good part was that I was a student there, and they might time your breaks, but we got off with alot of shit.

I didnt like eating fries before "Supersize Me" came out :P

I work at quiznos, basically the 5-star expensive french restaurant of the fast food industry.

Pros
-very clean, unlike other fast food stores
-the food is actually made of quality ingredients
-I can make myself any single kind of sub I would ever want. The worst sub I've eaten since I started working there is still better than any sub that a normal customer can get

Cons
-I only get half price food and it is still pretty expensive
-You always have to wear gloves at all times when handling people's subs, and for some reason it is impossible to get them on when your hands are sweaty; so trying to get gloves on during a rush when you are choking under the pressure is only going to make the situation worse
-I have a pretty big ego, and it takes a little blow every time I have to say "would you like tomatoes and red onions on your sub sir?"

Oh and it pays something like 7.50/hr

By the way, am I reading wrong or do you people in Europe get PAID to go to university? I'm going to be paying thousands and thousands of dollars every year, fuck I hate capitalism

I haven't had a job but I have an interview at a movie theatre today. Pros'll be free movies anywhere in the city, cons'll be that it's actually work... and I'm lazy.

Random babysitting right now, but I think I can top the lists for the worst summer job ever.

Babysitting
-7AM to 5:30-6 PM, Monday to Friday, basically all summer
The kids:
-A 16 year old (yes, older than me) which I had to keep out of the cigarettes, stop him from joyriding, and keep him from beating up the kids (almost had to call the police once)
-12 year old with ADHD that eats constantly, acts like she's 5, won't listen to anything you say and will run away if she's mad. Lies about anything and everything, no matter how far-fetched it is. Steals mother's cigarettes.
-10 year old who is good unless the 16 year old is around, but if the 16 year old is around will be a mirror image of the 16 year old
-8 year old who is the most stubborn person you will ever meet. Very picky with food, only watches shows meant for preschoolers on TV. Throws temper tantrums daily, and does things on purpose to make you want to kill her.

Now if the price was right, it might be semi-tolerable. However, I got paid 2.25 an hour.

Last job I got was working 2 weeks at the CNE (canadian national exhibition, like a carnival).
I worked 12-8am sweeping floors, dumping garbage, sorting garbage, washing windows, washing TOILETS (nasty shit. girls, please learn to flush). I also had to deal with everyone smoking 5 cigarettes during every break and I hate the smell of cig smoke. (this one guy had weed though and it smelt awsome). I made $11/hr cdn. no benifits. at all.

I work in a gourmet pizza place. Its good, get free pizza if the pizza makers screw something up and/or someone doesn't come pick up their pizza.
But I've become an expert at the deep fryer.

I officially started waitressing yesterday. Today was my actual first day of working, and it really isn't that bad. I made $23 off of tips, which apparently wasn't too bad at all, but I'm getting paid less than minimum wage so it all evens out
