Also, I am no expert, but I don't think that your headphones really can make much of a difference on battery life at all. The only thing is that you may have to turn the volume higher or lower depending on the headphones, but other than that, I don't think so.

I have three seperate headphones for my iPod (including the standard white ones). I've been wanting some neodymium ones, I'll check those out, thanks.

Also, I find a lot of people wear the white Apple headphones so they can be recognized as an iPod user. That's one reason I don't use mine that much, less chance of getting robbed (and they're not too comfortable, IMO). :grin:

Well this is my personal observation. The guys who go around school wearing ripped clothes, bleached hair and speak in a slightly higher pitch than every other guy all have iPods, this is true all through the school. They're more of a fashion item now.
