After talking to only a few Americans it seems to you that there's a wide conception in the USA that Albert Einstein was an American...after only talking to a few?! Oh, and who were these few Americans that you talked to? Little children on TW do not represent the majority of adult Americans, douche-bag. All your alleged interviews could prove is that it's common for children who probably haven't learned a damned thing about Einstein yet to think he's American because they know he lived here for a while. I find it very ironic that you think Americans are ignorant.

Holy mother of god, someone really got defensive. Is it only me or has the americans been OVERexagurating lately, when it comes to being patriotic?

I think Horny's question "After talking to a few americans it seems to me that theres a wide conception in USA that Albert Einstein was an american." was a totally good question, did you Kontrloz even think about that he might have met some americans IRL, and discussed this with them?

            Think deeper.

Oh god, we have another one.
I got the impression because of their reaction when i said i thought Einstein was german. It seemed like this was something they had been told in School.

Go get another prescription for prozac

And these were not people in TW. These were americans i met in the bar i work

Well putting Horny's massive sarcastic, bitter attitude towards Americans in this topic aside, it's silly to say that there is a wide conception of something in a country he hasn't been too or polled just because he talked to a few people. Am I supposed to think that there is a wide conception in England that Red-heads are complete whores, just because I talk to a few brits that have red-head ex girlfriends?

                  Christ, guys.
It was just a question. I could understand if you believed this, but i wouldnt agree. This is one of the biggest men to ever live and he happened to be a german. We all know that the winners of the war is the one to write history, i was just wondering how far the "brainwashing*" had gone in the states.
And that last part. Thats ironic, comming from one of the most nationalist states in the world. GOD BLESS AMERICA !!

Why think deeper? He was just out to rile a few people's feathers, and satisfy his own nationalistic ego. Does it really matter if Albert was German or American? Is it really going to shock you to the core to realize that most people don't give a shit whether he was American or German?
My father in law was telling me over Thanksgiving about this amazing bartender at some bar he frequented who could shake a martini and fill it to the rim with no leftovers and he thought it was the coolest thing he'd ever seen. I then proceeded to his home bar and made four martinis in one shaker with unfamiliar glassware and a non standard shaker and did the same thing. From that moment forward I knew he had no compunction about my cock ever being in his daughter's mouth.

Yes, its stupid. And thats why i came here and asked you guys.

I got the impression it was a wide conception

You shouldn't have gotten the impression in the first place. Stop pushing your insecurities on other people. So what if he was german? Will that really make your day? WIll it make your country any better than it is currently? Pointless.

You're obviously reaching too far if you believe that a few Americans believing that Einstein was American is indicative of brainwashing. Not to mention that since Einstein intentionally and voluntarily left his former country to become a citizen of the United States, it is very much arguable that Einstein was, in fact, American, although he was born in Germany.
