My friends Smertin and Joe were gonna go to London to see Queens of the Stone Age at Somerset House tonight. I couldn't afford to go. Bastards. Virgin trains have also been cancelled, even up here in the north. As for QotSA, they don't know whether or not to cancel the gig tonight, news should be coming in any moment.

heh all my news was from the itv news and bbc, websites were anal at reports they just say what they wanted about what was happening but in total there were 8 explosions last time i checked my tv.

but they have just avacuated terminal 3 of heathrow airport so christ knows what the rest of the day holds.

I bet it's the IRA. I don't see a few Islamic yahoo's doing something as minimal as some subway bombs, as well as a bomb on a bus. It's a horrible occasion and It's upsetting to hear, but I don't know if I would be quick to blame terrorists considering there is no major change in Britain's stance on the middle east.

Edit: P.S., I don' get BBC or anything like that in NJ, so all I have is CNN. And I find it halarious that the focus is 'What this attack means for the USA' (speculation) as opposed to what the fuck happened in Britain. I still only have a minimal knowledge of what went on.

That's really normal for American news. CBC News World is good up here and City TV. I thought the IRA was disarming or something I didn't know they were still active.
