First of all, I'm not sure if I agree with syzsgy, but he certainly has more online courage than others to announce his opinions (granted, whether he would say this to people in person might be another matter).
Second:
This is an interesting comment. Pandagirl states that she won't date a complete idiot, and that she won't date someone who is not as smart as she is. Logically, when these two statements are taken together, she would be one step above a complete idiot, since if someone is less smart than she is, she won't date him, and if someone is a complete idiot, she won't date him. it's easier to state opinions when i have time to think over what i'm saying. in person, words don't flow as nicely
your logic is sound, if you actually put the two statements together. but i don't think they should be:
1. she definitely won't date an idiot.
2. she will date someone with intelligence > or = hers
she could be 1 step above or 20 steps (assuming a 'step' actually measures something); it's not to say, someone who's not as smart as her is an idiot. only that there are two groups of men she definitely won't date.there's more to life than meets the eye, but don't let that get you down.
