Nintendo Next Gen Console: Wii

IF I end up buying one of those three consoles, it will be the Nintendo because it is the cheapest, and I don't want to pay over 400-600$ for a console. IMO, the nintendo is the only one who doesn't look too ugly; the ps3 looks like a bbq. I am confident that the games on the nintendo won't be deceiving, and its controller looks awesome. I think the xbox will be the big loser.

Personally I find pop-tarts to be kind of disgusting.

At times they can be, but they make for a quick breakfast/snack. Wild Berry is rare but the main kind that I eat.

The look of a console doesn't make it better, but it's always a plus if it's smaller and if it looks cool. The ps3 looks bulky, I wouldn't like having that thing taking up a lot of space in my room.

PJ - I think you have to pay, like iTunes songs. You can play them as much as you want, but you have to pay to download them.

Fact: PCE is the sexiest console you can find, it is its own screen away from being portable. I'm not talking about the TG16 here, it can play the games, maybe needs the CD addon for the CD ones, but so did the PCE. The PCE is so fucking small it is awesome, and they used cards that were like the size of a train or a buss pass so they didnt have any huge plastic bulk. Plus a lot of the games aren't bad, theres original Yses on cd complete with pixel anime segments and Meiko Ishikawa tracks.
Fact: The first party and whatever games they can get licensed will be downloadable on this system. Possibly even the CD games. The Genesis games are also on it, again I'm hoping they do include the Master System and the Saturn, but I don't remember hearing about confirmations in this.

Things to note in this thread:

Nintendo's console sounds interesting if it'll have enough interesting games to use it, without those it will be as useful as fishing rod controller for DreamCast.

someone might have posted already.. but the way i see this whole console war thing is.. sure, wii will be ALOT cheaper than a ps3 or a xbox360, but its lack of good games really bothers me. gamecube was out as long as ps2 and xbox has.. and how many good games does it have? i count 3 or 4... thats yet.

however, the wicked controllers for wii can be used to explore new ways of gameplay. it might revolutionize the way console games are played, but it might also fail miserably. all new consoles need to be given time for it to be tested. thats why i personally wouldnt go buy a new console until it has been out for at least a year or so with some decent games.
