I was wondering if anyone could help me resolve a philosophical aspect of a scientific law.
The law I'm referring to is the 1st law of thermodynamics. If mass and energy can neither be created nor destroyed, how did the universe and everything in it appear in the first place?
I'm sure there's probably some simple explanation that they teach you in physics class, but I was too busy getting high to take it.
Thanks.
