So uh why did Sarien get fired anyway? He's one of the few people here who's above the age of 16. He helped me figure out how to use my Mac once too, good guy. Oh and what happened to Zeus?
yes, that would be the ultimate prize for you nerds wouldnt it, a hot mexican with big tits and big ass, i guess u guys only see that shit on internet porn :/
Dude, she only married you for the green card.

1: hed> and after dinner
1: hed> "howbout you unban apt"
7: flared> so me and my friends talked shit back to him
7: flared> THEN we find out he's in the crips
Oh nevermind, I just found the other thread in trash talk...
So Sarien got fired for banning Wark and Izor?
Man... I saw Izors 'awards' thread myself and if the forum upgrade didn't take away my forum powers (I really should have powers seeing as how I'm a smod in the zone and all, but that guess that's an oversight?) I would have gotten rid of the thread myself and even done some banning (well at least tell someone to ban those guys).
I for one have never thought it was that bad the various things that Sarien did on this board (i.e. edit people's messages if they were bad and so on). He tried to foster a more mature board and tried his best to get rid of the negative influences that ruined the board with the power available to him.
As I said in the last post he's a good guy, and I'm sad that he got fired. Who will take his job now? I wonder who would want such a thankless job where if you try to actually get rid of people who blantently are trying to push the envelope to get themselves banned you are fired.
The fact is, this isn't just Sarien. People have a very wrong view of the rules. They think to themselves, if the letter of the rule is not followed exactly, then abuse was done. Unfortunately this is not what happens in real life. The spirit of the rules in real life is just as important. That is why in real life we have trials and judges who made decisions BASED on the law. In this game the decisions are not as transparent, but they exist just as well.
The spirit of the rules was that racism is not tolerated. The spirit of the rules is that this message board is for everyone, and should be kept PG. The spirit of the rules is that if you frequently break the rules, you should be punished severely.
By firing Sarien, the person in charge of the forum has shown that the letter of the rules is more important than the spirit of the rules. The person has shown that we do not actually care about fostering a better community in this forum, nor do we actually care about having a place where we don't need to be constantly interrupted with pointless thread bumps and racism. The only thing that matters is that frequent rule breakers can get away with whatever they want while those that hope for more are gotten rid of as quickly as possible.

i hate to toot my own horn, but i'll stick with my state-gymnast-competition-winning, national-academic-decathlon-winning, back-to-back-homecoming-prom-queen, at-the-drive-in-loving, asian, girlfriend.
big tits and big ass souds cool, though, but i prefer perfect tits and a perfect ass. you can keep her!
Who wants to to do a thankless job where you can be fired at any point in time for merely doing your job, why put effort into something that one day can be taken away from you for absolutely no reason at all?
it makes me sick when i think of it, all my heroes could not live with it so i hope you rest in peace cause with us you never did
I've now got both Sarien's side of the story and DangerGirl's side of the story, I'll read the Izor thread and draw my conclusions at the weekend (not tonight as I have a bottle of wine in my hand and not tomorrow as I'm going to the gym)
