    Who recommended this author?

    Steven Erikson, specifically the Malazan books of the Fallen. It was a random bookstore moment.. Jordan's 11th book was 50 bucks in hardcover so I had to grab something else. Now, almost a year after buying Gardens of the Moon, I've bought and read all 6 of his books out so far.

    Who was it that recommended this guy? He's a facinating Fantasy author. He paints with such realism and schope. He doesn't just follow the everyday Elves, Dwarfs and little people from a tiny forgotten shire-like town that have a great destiny to undertake. He gets messy, and isn't afraid to really twist shit around. If you enjoy Fantasy - I'm telling you read this guy. Incredible stuff.

    Was it Eric is God, or Epinephrine? I thought I remembered an E - and it was someone old so I figure it's one of you two.

    hm...maybe i'll check that out. thats funny you mentioned that jordan book. i started that series in middle school and was so pissed off at the cliffhanger after i finished the 10th book. i had completely forgotten it until i saw the next one had come out...now i'm rereading the entire series to finish the damn thing

      Apparently he's writing 12 or 14 now? Originally it was just going to be 10. I started the series 3 or 4 years ago myself. I've re-read book 10 to refresh myself come book 11. Goes on sale in softcover November 8th I think?

                  well i was pretty sure :P

                  I've moved out of downtown, back with my mom. Got school on the go, plus a double interview on Sunday.. pretty sure I got this job. Overnights stacking stuff, but meh. Gonna get me some Internet back, and play some Subspace soon - it doesn't even work on my dads comp for some reason. It wont open unless I Run As, then it won't login to TW. when i ctrl alt del - it jumps around the Processes box so i have to restart to shut it down after..

                  So how you been? No World Cup to keep you busy for a while now. Diso still looking sexy as always.

                          Fantasy literature? Oh joy!
                          I recommend the books of George R. R. Martin, especially his series A Song of Ice and Fire of which there is a fifth book in the making as we speak. It is quite possibly the most successful and appraised fantasy novel series of today, with an unbelievably lively and dedicated style of writing, extraordinarily detailed characters and an immeasurable appeal that won't let you put the book away for even a second until you are completely through with the series. Order it today, in duplicates. Just in case, you know.
