both me and my gf's first year 'moved out' on christmas, and she was all depressed about her lack of decorations and the nonexistant christmas spirit in her apartment. so i went out and got a decent tree, lights, and bulbs...christmas 'starter kit' and gave it to her a couple of weeks early.

sounds kinda lame...the thank you was certainly worth it

I'm stumped on my mom, I know she loves the wizard of oz so I was going to get her tickets to see wicked but it's completely sold out and I can't afford several hundred dollars.

Find out where they get their nails done and or hair and get them a gift certificate for these. Or as Fit of Rage mentioned, get a gift certificate for a spa.

Of course with the gift certificate, you can put a basket together with items like scented candles, bath oils....whatever.

ok nothing screams "hey babe i dont know what to buy you" more than a basket full of shower lotion and shit, its relaly overused

that being said I didnt know what to buy my girl, so i went to victoria secret and got sprayed by 50 billion perfumes by the victoria secret chick, maybe she thought it was funny to make me sparkle with glitter and smell like a female

in any case i bought perfume, hopefully she likes it cuz the $60 i spent i would have rather bought her langerie, but thats more a present for myself than anything then

when i feel like spoiling myself i get my girlfriend lingerie, it's the best Christmas present any man can give himself.
