What the f' is up with the retards that are doing this so-called Happy Slap shit. Cracks me up. I would love to see that come to the States. You would definately see the murder rates go up. With so many that carry guns and other types of weapons, I would love to see someone get 'Happy Slapped' only to then see the one who is splapped pull out a 9mm and put a few in those participating heads...now that would make a great video! It is bound to happen if that would venture into the States.

It must be solely a Europe thing? Have seen it in the news for a few years now, and now CNN talks about it:

PARIS, France (AP) -- A new law in France makes it a crime -- punishable by up to five years in prison -- for anyone who is not a professional journalist to film real-world violence and distribute the images on the Internet.

Critics call it a clumsy, near-totalitarian effort by authorities to battle "happy slapping" -- the youth fad of filming violent acts -- which most often they have provoked themselves -- and spreading the images on the Web or between mobile phones.

The measure, tucked deep into a vast anti-crime law that took effect Wednesday, took media advocates by surprise with what they say is an undesirable side effect: trampling on freedom of expression.

Experts said the law is the first of its kind in Europe.

I personally think it would be fair to have such individuals restrained while the stranger who was assaulted by the 'Happy Slapper' gets to beat the shit out of those that participated in such an act. That would be fair...especially if that act of retaliation could be filmed as well!

you say that 404 but generally these ppl pick their targets so owuld go for an easy target rather than butch cassidy. However i fail to see that advocating a gun toting culture as a positive thing becuase ppl wouldn't get happy slapped in fear off getting shot is a goodthing?

but i do agree these retards have really overstepped the mark on personal freedom , i'd crack up if it ever happened to me. but i think its mostly a bullying tactic in schools and such and in that case it might be more complicated, i dunno i wasn't bullied at school. Always hated bullies, its just sickening - same as those who get a kick out of torturing animals ... wtf is wrong with ppl?

I understand what your saying, yet the average teen/young adult would not think of it in this manner over here. I think it's funny to a degree, especially if the target was someone perhaps you know. The possibilities of negative outcomes if it was a complete stranger could hold different results here.

I am not a gun carrier, so NO I obviously would not shoot anyone, but there are so many illegal weapons on the streets and too many retards holding them, that I cringe on the results and actions from those that would be the victum.

People get shot for throwing snowballs at cars today...getting slapped in close prox would create even more casualties.
