I started playing badminton again last year, after an 8 year hiatus. I play 4 hours per week plus the occasional low-tier competition match. I'm still a newbie but learning quickly. It's an amazing fast-paced sport, I can't wait till I get better :P

by the way, I already managed to break the strings on my racket this past year, three times. I have no idea why...

If your racquet has high tension, the chance of breaking them is obviously higher. If you are saying that you are a newbie, there is probably a high chance that the shots you are making contact with your racquet are at weak joints of the racquet, like the sides and top, so it snaps easier up there.

Is breaking the strings three time A YEAR considered a lot in badminton?

I used to play tennis at national level when I was younger, strings breaking at a pace of 1-2 per week for hardcourt (string tension 27/29), and about once a week for clay court (sting tension 23/25, but the clay that gets stuck in between the strings wear them out quickly, together with the fact that a lot more spin is applied).

Wow there are more FAGGOTS on this forum than I had thought. Of course most of them are European where it's cool to metrosexual/gay.

And the only real sport of the USA is sitting behind the telly, watching padded fat people run into each other, while eating fast food and beer.

Real men in the USA drink beer, work out, hit their women, and fuck whores. We have metrosexuals like you guys but we make them wear ugly clothes, put metal and shit in their face, and hang out in the shitty parts of town drinking coffee so they can talk about things they will never have an impact on - kind of like worthless Euros.

Yes, because making love to a woman is nothing like paying some disease infested teeth less crack whore for sex. I bet this is why a president's only shot at being elected is to claim to be religious. You are all rebels, aren't you.
