American: Lancaster Hop Hog, Victory Hop Devil, or any other good IPA
Cheap: If I'm drinking like 4, PBR, if I'm drinking like 40, Natty
Malt Liqour: EVIL EYE (technically a 'high gravity lager' but it's insanely cheap and tastes like shit so I included it here)
Imported: I almost never buy imports because they are skunky so much, but Newcastle and Bass are great on tap.

Domestic (American): Mendocino Brewing Co---Red Tail Ale. Beautiful copper color, and a heavy yeast and hops flavor. And it has so much character you'll notice a slight sediment at the bottom of the bottle.

Cheap Beer: I just can't drink cheep beer. I'd rather just pay the extra $2-3 bucks for a 6-pack of something that doesn't taste like rice fermented piss.

Malt Liquor: If money is seriously an issue, I'll drink Steel Reserve 211. It has one of the highest alcohol percentages out there---just over 8%---which is about twice as strong as bud/miller/coors. It tastes terrible, but after drinkin' 1/2 a 40oz., you tend to stop noticing. And for less than $5 dollars, you can just buy yourself two 40's and postpone your problems for another 24 hours. Truly a fantastic value for the budding alcoholic.

Import: Guiness Stout---Guiness is easily my pick for god's gift to mankind. Fuck the polio vaccine, fuck Jesus on the cross redeeming the sins of man...no, no, no. That aromatic, creamy head and that silky body with hints of chocolate and coffee is TRULY what perfection is all about.

Domestic - Sam Adams Boston Lager. Yuengling is great, but I don't get a hold of it often.

Cheap Crap - Miller High Life and Keystone light over natty if I have the choice.

Malt liquor - Never had it.

Imported - Stella Artois. Great when it's served in a chilled glass. Not to bash anyone, but I've never been a fan of Corona. Dos Equis lager is a much better Mexican beer in my mind.

Cheap - Icehouse.. its a 30 pack for ten bucks. Although, now that I'm out of college and have a steady income.. I don't drink cheap beers anymore.

If I had to buy one, Corona is cheaper to buy at the package stores around here, but if it wasn't a matter of price I would take a Guinness over Corona any day.

cheap - in college it was natty ice to get just obliterated... or busch light to have a long night of drinking games

favorite american - hrmmm...i like alot of the sam adams stuff... if its there i dont mind the bud select too much either

malt - drink these only if you want to get drunk and have about a buck sixty to do it... hurricane high grav is the way to go... its about 80 cents for a 24oz can of 8.3% alcohol beer. but nasty as all hell

as far as imported... heh, there is a nice wine store in town here that also has a pretty decent selection of beer that im going through.

i cant remember the name, but a nice sour red ale

alot more... but these types of beers usually range between the 6 to 12 dollars a bottle (most bottles are like 6 to 12% alcohol too... plus much larger than a normal beer)

dont drink those to get drunk... drink those to be amazed at how good some beer can be... and how much some beer can suck
