As I said before most people are not really concerned with whatever their neighbor or friend believes in, some atheist wish to discredit and dissuade people from participating in a religion for whatever wrongful and immoral actions that religion or faith has committed. Lumping everyone who does not believe in a God or Gods as only wishing to attack or cause harm on a religion(s) or people is close minded just as it would be to say all Christians are of the Evangelical kind. That said professing an non-theistic belief system is no less valid when compared to a theistic one.

there are atheist principles, which are the ideas of an atheist, which are lack of God. it doesn't need to be an organized group to have ideas or beliefs. An Atheist is just anyone who doesnt believe in God and i am identifying that disbelief through "atheist principles".

First of all don't talk down to me like a child when you're a lot younger than me, you're also highly uneducated. Obviously you aren't reading certain parts or believe that people wouldn't mistake these quotes or many others for obvious reasons to treat women and 'infidels' a certain way. I'm not saying you do, but you live in Canada, you're westernized. Women are generally treated like shit in theocracies (I'm implying Iran, douchebag). What hypocrisy? I'm not religious, I think all major religions even the bible have shady views towards other people and mainly women. The only religion I'm not a hundred percent sure on is Buddhism. That's a lame ass excuse, there's no possible way of translating it into English, there might be words I don't understand but the general meaning can be translated and still attained from quotes such like these. Re-read the last 8-10 quotes I posted and tell me how someone couldn't misinterpret their direct meaning.

Para, Atheism is defined as a lack of belief in God and rejection of divinity. It does not mean the hatred of God or religion or the people who follow either. Not everyone who does not believe in God is against religion or God, it's his/her personal belief, that does not mean he/she wishes others to follow the same belief system. It just works for him or her. Both theist and non-theist have groups who wish to impose their beliefs on others, it is not a characterization of one group or another.

Many Christians used the Bible as an excuse for their treatment of women and minorities for centuries. The problems with Islam are more cultural then religious today, that's not to say much of these ideas were not derived from scripture, just that more oppressive societies find it easier to keep it from becoming an issue both domestically and on the international stage. Added to that are these twisted ideas of Islamophobia deflecting real criticism, branding it as racism, which only serves to make it harder for moderates and liberals within that culture and religion to change anything. That's the whole issue right there.

I use to be an atheist but as I matured my stance changed from 'there's no god' to 'there might be a god', I guess if I can' prove either then sitting on the fence allows me the ability to not say yes or no. I know overwhelming amount of people who label themselves as Christians and Catholics yet they're far from it, they might believe in god but that's as far as it goes. I know what it's like to be labeled an atheist and get shit on from religious people (I was suspended several times in grade 9-10 for wearing a bad religion shirt that has a slash through a cross). It was a band shirt first and forth most, but even though it was a public high school the teachers were still keen to make it an issue. The school was predominantly Muslim, royst apparently went there and can attest to the amount of religious and racial influence that school has.

It's idiots like you that label atheists as people who try to discredit gods existence, most atheists don't believe in god and really don't give a fuck what you believe.
