If I was paying $400 a month and I only made $1500 a month and I knew my rates were going to go up so high that I wasn't sure if I'd be able to afford I'd probably leave too. K so a few days ago I accidentally backed into this car while backing out of the parking lot of one of the dining halls at my university. I looked back and was like fuck what do I do, I don't want to pay for this... So I just drove away. Now there is like no damage to my truck and there is really only a scratch on my bumper which is not bad at all. The other car is pretty dented. Last night though I was parking and a cop pulled up behind me and started questioning me and shit. He didn't come out and say it but I know it was about the car I hit. He kept asking me about the scratch on the back of my truck. My truck already had some dings on the back of it and it is really unnoticeable. He started taking pictures and shit too.

Now my question to you guys is... Since they didn't get a license plate on me can I get in trouble for this even if someone said they saw a black truck like mine leaving the scene? While the cop was talking to me I know he was just trying to get me to confess. And I think if they were gonna bust me on that shit then they would have done it then. What do you guys think?

It was an asshole thing to do. If it was me, I would have waited until the person came out and talked to them. Something like that might have been resolved by doing the right thing. If you waited you wouldn't have left the scene of an accident which is a felony.

I have 2 cameras inside my bmw linked to a external hard drive and laptop in the trunk my car ever since the day i was parked in the mall parking lot and some bitch backed into my front and took out my license plate and holder.
