Conspiracies do happen and the best ones are the hardest to prove... only because they're supported by people of power & influence - in politics & in mass media and MONEY is POWER.

For instance, in conspiracies past, many of us have seen the famous Zapruder film. Kennedy is shot twice; once from behind in the back of the neck (Oswald's shot) & once from the front-right side. It's the second shot that's fatal and hits Kennedy's head from an angle impossible for Oswald, who was behind the car, to have hit, i.e. from the front. But the government gets an expert to say, upon further investigation & research, we have concluded there was just a 'lone gunman'. case closed. enough said.

9/11 has a shitload of smoking guns:
A few for starters:

With the Pentagon, one of the most closely guarded buildings in the country, approximately 80 cameras, civilian & military, were facing in the direction of the impact. Within the first hour they were confiscated by the FBI. Days later, the only video released was a bad quality & weak angle coming from a pentagon security gate.

With WTC building 7, it was a lot farther away from towers 1 & 2 than some of the other buildings in the area. Yet those buildings closer to towers 1 & 2 not of the WTC complex remained standing while building 7, with a buiding between it and the towers, fell mysteriously like a 'controlled demolition.' Suspiciously, Mayor Giuliani tells ABC News Peter Jennings WTC7 is going to fall before it collapsed Also,
the BBC reported WTC7 falling 20 minutes before it actually fell.

You might find a website or two that attempts to debunk an idea regarding the conspiracies of 9/11, but i would bet there's more topics about the 9/11 conspiracies that cannot be debunked than those that can.

If what I choose to believe makes me an idiot, then sobeit. I will not live a lie.

Who cares, for all you know kennedy doesn't exist and it was a film so realistic that people thought it was real and to make a few bob from the newpapers the government made it real. hows that for a conspiracy? do any of you really care?

Physics

A couple of points with physics.
I know a few things about physics and bodies in motion striking bodies at rest.

First, when you're trying to find a hole in the pentegon wall the exact same size as the width of the plane. There won't be one. The front of the plane hits first and the whole body of the plane crumples like an aluminum pop can weakening the entire structure. When the front edge of the wings that are attacked to the plant impact the building they are compressed in towards the body of the plane. This happens b.c the wings are swept backwards. The impact hole can range anywhere from 1/4 to 1/2 of the total width of an object of similar shape to a plane. Some times up to 3/4 if the object is extremely solid and the object it is hitting is soft.

This all varies due to the composition of the two objects, and speed at impact.

Now if the wings on a plane were inversed so the tips pointed forward and not backwards, (like some fighters) then you'd expect a hole of similar size to the plane.


Second, some say they except plane parts at the pentegon and for the plane that hit the open field.

Moving planes and stationary buildings are similar to a moving meteor and a (fairly) stationary Earth.

When a meteor comes down traveling at a fair clip and hits the Earth it makes a crater, varing in size due to it's mass and speed. Usually, there is nothing left of the meteor. Look at all the big impact craters around the world, there are holes in the ground, but no meteor sitting in the bottom.

The matter (plane or meteor) is transformed into other forms of energy, mostly heat, and sound as it is vaporized. It is also converted into steam as it is compressed rather quickly, super heated, turned to liquid, then very hot steam in an instant.

The slower the speed of the striking object, the more "parts" of it survive.

One point not to overlook, is the confirmed dead people who were on the planes. There are hundreds of people who died on the planes.

That can be traced.

The "them" people didn't just;
1. Take all the people who were on the plane that was said to hit the pentegon/ field kill them, and dispose of their bodies somewhere.

2. Make the plane disappear, or take it somewhere and rip it apart, then

3. Take the ramdom plane parts to the pentagon and

4. Detonate a bomb there

5. Scatter plane parts at random.

And if the plane is 4 stories high and initially makes a hole approximately 16' ft in diameter on the first floor, why wasn't there any marks on the lawn? And look at the stuff on the second floor.. a stool standing on the edge with a book sitting open on top of it appearing undamaged... doesn't look like a whole lot of charring above the first floor at this point.

Depends which 'official report' you are talking about. Unless you have the final, final newest official report in hand, I'd say you are just quoting whatever some conspiracy site says is the official report. According to the popular mechanics site, WTC7 fell from a mixture of structural collaspe from debris hitting the lower level support columns, bad building design putting too much stress on said support columns, and diesel tanks for emergency power stored on the mid-levels which caught on fire.

Probably because of the way the building was built. It was probably made in blocks, and thus knocking out a section of beams in any one area could collaspe the entire block. Much like sections on a ship actually. For such a long and relatively short building it's quite plausible.

If a bomb destroyed it, that also wouldn't explain why it so neatly fell with that 'open book on the stool' being so perfect, because bombs also cause mayhem. Unless you think they had a special laser sword that cut the building down the middle.

I'm not saying that a plane did not hit the pentagon, but is sure as hell does not look like a 757 hit it... and I don't believe those are the parts of a 757 jetliner... Remember, that plane is 4 stories high and for as low as it hit the building, a 757 would have tore the shit out of the lawn and notice the windows around the hole... They're not even broken. The tail section of a 44' ft high plane would have at least broke the windows above the hole. Not only that, but it certainly seems strange to me that the windows didn't break yet the facade collapsed.

oh no! Now even mythrandir is making cheap alien jokes at us! Obviously planes hit these buildings, but could even a diesel fire bring down the world trade center as shown in those vidoes? The building had 24 core columns and 57 perimeter columns. To hold that fire caused this building to collapse straight down would mean believing that the fire caused all 81 columns to fail at exactly the same time.
