I'm going to rock the shitty characters, just like always. Getting killed by someone, not a big deal, getting killed by Yoshi (shit off a cliff! $$) or Jigglypuff, pure hilarity.

all serious talk, i saw pjotner dude talkin about how its about mashing buttons...dude...you have no clue who you played...probably kid sucks beyond reason...
smash is hardest fighting game to master out of any i played...including SFA3, SFTS, marvel v capcom 2, capcom v SNK, guilty gear, whatever, you name it i played it and partilly mastered it...however...
to play smash competitively, you have to learn advanced techniques like wavedashing, shining, l canceling, fast falling, and not just learn em, but use em together to make your character seem so fast that regular players would think your playing on lightning mode...
anyway, im a marth user and if you know mew2king, Ken, and other good marth users, you will know what status im on....i cant say i fully mastered the game for i never will since i will stop playing it now that there is about 5 days left till brawl release, however, brawl is a totally different game, alot floatier, more balanced, and combos are pretty much impossible to make PLAYERS LIKE PJOTER FEEL GOOD ABOUT THEM SELVES...
i hate the way brawl turned out to satisfy the need of newbie players..
in the interview with sakurai, guy that made smash bros, he said they removed online ranking so that people that think they are good do not go online to see they are ranked 10 milionth on ladders...which i find so funny...
most kids where im from are dillusional, braging they are good but in the end, it was waste of my time to even speak to them once i seen them play...
these days, when u play melee, you can tell the level of skilla player has just by asking them what character they main...
anyway, 5 days left till brawl, only 64 codes are max limit to your friends list, meaning 64 people can be saved to your wii once at a time for you to play online...so if your competition sucks, i suggest erasing their codes and adding ones worth while...
im definetly looking forward to SS community playins brawl with me tho, since i share that little something with all of you through this game
peace out o/
The "advanced techniques like wavedashing, shining, l canceling, fast falling"
takes max 3 hours to learn unless you're retarded. It's not random that small kids (small to - 15ish) dominates in this game.
I'm imagining that you're some kind of slavic kid from (or have parents from) eastern europe thinking you're gangster, having a SSB altar with all the figures on it, offering Pringles on the altar every day.
The game is fun, great, amazing to play with friends, but Super Smash Brothers is far from being the hardest fighting game at all.

Having been a gamer almost all my life, I tend to pay little attention to those game series I've missed out on. I've mostly been playing games on my computer, and some on Playstation 1 and the old Xbox. I have to admit, I can't ignore this game any longer. It looks awesome.
Had a longer talk about when a console is worth buying with a friend yesterday, and we realized that Smash Bros and Mario Galaxy alone is enough to buy a WII.

Not to mention the fact you can have more than 64 friends at the time.

I'm glad I have friends that won't hesitate to beat the shit out of me when I start using terminology like "wavedashing", "shining", and "l canceling" in a game with the most wholesome characters in the gaming universe.

Nub, you have to learn every secret of the game and then use a top tier character (with a needlessly cheap smash attack) and claim other people suck. This shit isn't about having fun, you can get killed out here for thinking that.

I don't know about you guys, but I like to have fun when playing video games.

Anytime you ever call anyone a nerd, ever on the forums from now on, someone just needs to quote this bullshit.
EDIT-
see i achieved and still achiving so much in life that im not afraid of games like most of you low self asteem whakos...i think its more pathetic to see people who are ashamed to admit they like video games...
not to mention the girls who love to spend time playing video games when their introduced to them the proper way...
again, something most of you dont know...

anyway, friend codes are basically your online buddy list....it has a maximum of 64 spaces for codes, so you can pick any 64 people you want and add them to your friendslist and be able to play them anytime they log on...however once you reach limit of 64 people, you wont be able to add new friends, unless you remove old ones who are...lets say...inactive...or just sucky...
for example, il add kyou and allergy from SS and if they suck, bye bye...get the drift?

Royce is more hell-bent on proving it to us rather than just admitting it. Props buddy!

I never took the game seriously, just played it with a couple of mates on a beamer. More interested in playing it that way than in "tournament" mode.
Was always good fun, so many chars to choose from and the hilarity :P (no clue which version it was actually)
