I don't get how you people are talking about how you can be good at this game. It's just like Tekken or any other fighting game... You Smash buttons constantly, no idea what you're doing and beat guys that know teh combinations of combo's and try shit and then you do some weird shits and kick em and beat em.

I once played SSB on the Gamecube I think and it was just funny how I kept beating my neighbour who was supposed to be good at the game knowing all the combo's and shit and me just countering all of that with BUTTON SMASHING ABABBABABABBABBABABBABABBABABABABBABABABAZZYWZBABZ YAYZbYZWYBYZAYBXSYZBYAZBZYBYABZYBWYBZYABYZABYBWZYY AZBYABYW

N64 Ness wasn't overpowered, he was rockin it just the way Ness should; anyone who disagrees needs to wipe away the whale tears and face facts- Ness is the shit.

Melee Ness was adjusted for the whiners, they couldn't face the homerun bat and expect to win

EDIT- If Ness is like Melee Ness I'm going to have to go to my standby Yoshi, or try out that badass Icarus, see what's up with him.


I have a feeling Sonic is going to play like Fox and that's a tad lame for my tastes, same reason I stopped using Marth.

The Melee Ness was balanced, N64 was way overpowered, if you think he sucked in Melee it probably means that you're crap.

It's all about Kirby. Try and knock me off...I got six chances, plus the triple jump move to get back on. While characters like Link, DK, and Fox fight below, Kirby can hover above the action, descend quickly and get back out. He's lethal when you play stock because you can outlast and knock people off when necessary. Plus, he's one of the top 5 fastest characters in both games. There's quite a big delay when Kirby turns from stone back to normal again, no average player lets a gigantic Kirby discreetly hoover above a fight, then slowly drop down, slowly turn back to normal, and get away. Most likely you're gonna get raped if you're gonna try that against normal people.

And he gets knocked off the screen quite easily, it's just all the jumps that tricks the newbies into thinking that he lasts long.

I was hoping that the online playing didn't need friend codes. Dissapointing to see that it needs it, makes the online play quite boring.-_-

i like playing against kirby. when he's flying, he makes it perfect to shove link's long sword right up its arse.
