I love it how an internet discussion about something like favorite actors or whatever turns into heated discussions about some being wrong. How can anyone be wrong by stating that they like X better than the other? What can anyone gain by arguing their taste over others?

They're all different actors. The difference, I believe, between them is that Depp tends to take on the more wanton roles with consistency. That doesn't necessarily make him better than everyone, it just means that he like to take on the weird. I feel like de Niro and Nicholson can play roles that are both grounded and fantastical.
