i would probably build a spaceship with similar shields than the ones in independence day, i already have enough tools (im better than macgyver) so it would be no problem.

afterwards i would proceed to move into space find a new galaxy, undoubtly find a new planet similar to earth (without americans) and in about 7 months i would come back, drop a few nukes put up a finnish flag somewhere and go back to the other planet.

i dunno, still enjoying my wide open field idea, chances of them organizing and surrounding isn't high imo, maybe set up a mine field around me or have a car w/ a plow on the front ready with me...but that would decrease visibility..

you'd be seen from miles away and all it would take would be one night where you don't have a guard up and everyones asleep

I think walmart is a good idea, because of the abundant supplies and the fact that you could defend it. You'd have to get the right people in there with you, if you have people that are retarded then it's going to cost you in the end, but I don't think you'd want to be in walmart for years by yourself either. Also, I'd want a helicopter on the roof with plenty of fuel and some parachutes on the heli as well.

It depends on how much time you really have to get things set up though, cause if you've got a day or so then you could do quite a bit, but if you've got a couple minutes then it changes the scenario completely.

If I've only got a couple minutes then I'd follow LB around and spray blood on him and shout "he's over here!"

as is the case with any mine field, you leave a path unbeknownst to your enemies that you can move through in case you need to escape. open fields are usually pretty far from people so swarming would at least take a while to occur so i could buy time to come up with a better plan or establish better defenses. as for having my guard down, i would assume i would have my gf and a few close friends with me and we would take shifts. and lastly sight is not an issue with zombies....they are dead and thus the optics do not work as far as i have ever seen...hence why the eyes are always glazed over.
