    Dubuisson - Bush Amber

    &

    Brother Thelonious
    Belgian Style Abbey Ale

Like a Belgian “Dark Strong Ale”, the beer is rich and robust with an ABV of 9.3%. The package is a 750 ml bottle with a traditional cork and wire finish or 12oz 4 packs and features a label picturing the jazz master himself.

Finally finished off the case of Monk's over the weekend and the Dubuisson - Bush Amber was amazing...wish I had a case of that, but 1/2 a case was ok too

I share, sometimes horde...but NO...I didn't drink it all myself over the weekend.
May your shit come to life and kiss you on the face.

I managed to find this at our beer store in a 6-pack. I also found singles of their Liberty Ale. Which one would you recommend?

I haven't tried the Liberty Ale, because I live in Texas and its a microbrewery I don't get all their seasonals.

I have tried their Porter which is amazing

And I have tried the Steam which is equally good.

I would get a sixer of both, or find a store where you can pick six randoms and go that route, HEB in my area has them.

Also, if you get a chance try a Shinerbock Black, A St. Arnolds Christmas Ale, and a St. Arnolds Fancy Lawnmower, it is a really cool brewery here in Texas about 10 minutes from where I live, and they actually use lawn clippings in some of their beer, definitely worth a try.

                          Meh.

I believe there are microbreweries in all countries that can produce quality beers.

Plenty of beers from Europe that probably suck as well.

So when did Dubuisson become a cheap beer? You sir have no taste in fine ales if this was in any way directed at my post and choice beverage.

I would guess that La Trappe Tripel or Quad, as well as a Maredsous 8, 9 or even a 10 would be insluting to your tastes? I am currently waiting on some bottles of the 3MONTS & Trafalgar IPA in the next week.

I personally consider myself a beer snob and would never lower myself to drink "cheap piss as if it were some delicacy".BTW...on an odd note, I remember back in the 80's when I would fly to the UK every month for work that the hip thing to the London Locals at the pubs was drinking Bud and Coors in a frosted glass...talk about puke in a bottle. This was before the micro-brews started taking over in the States, so it was a pleasant thing to visit the UK and drink, at the time, some fine ass Ales, Bitters and Stouts! I was amazed that American swill was popular, as I was so happy to get away from it at the time, and still am!

I think the point of it all is... if you are a college kid wanting to play beer pong, you buy a 30 rack of miller or something

if you are going to the bar and still wanting to drink beer, but have it taste good, you buy a microbrewery and/or imported beer...

if you want a real drink at a class bar, you go with nothing other than gin martini

at a everyday normal bar, bombay sapphire is the way to go, definitely stirred, always up never on the rocks, and i prefer mine really dirty, cuz who doesn't like lots of olive juice with their vermouth?

anyway, if you wanna be a snob, be a real one, beer snobs are half assed

ITT: Zerzera is bad at trolling.

Anyways, both my older brothers are really really big into wine, my oldest brother is on his way to becoming a Master Sommelier and is already advanced, my middle brother is becoming a Master of Wine, and its pretty fucking stupid and ignorant to deny the fact that beer can be as diverse as wine can. Trust me, both exams except you to have knowledge of beer as well as wine, so a good beer isn't something you can write off as lame, or not high class, because honestly it is.

Oh and there have only been 171 people who have become master sommeliers since 1969 and there are only 270 or so Masters of Wine, so if my brothers enjoy beer, and talk about beer as they would about wine then you can be certain that it isn't a lame thing to drink.

oh and Bombay Sapphire sucks, you should check out some of the shit this bar in Houston uses.
