funny that you think some shitty prefab home out in the burbs of fucking Houston is somehow comparable to property in inner Sydney.

But yeh, land prices in the U.S are good atm with lots of bargains around.. like this place in New York is a fucking steal. http://www.landandfarm.com/propertie...oric_house.asp

500k$ would get you about an acre of land with a two-story house of 4 bedrooms where I live. So I agree with kthx

I think there are fleas on the property – the house is not so small after all … when you have to buy the insecticide and take the area into consideration. <_<

Swear to anything you willing to believe, there at least a thousand fleas there (the previous owner had a cat, a dog and some other animals). I have been bitten so many times and there are so many red bumps on my skin, I look half a kg heavier.

I am facing an army of fleas, I have no fear! Putting $200 worth of fleas bombs (indoor and outdoor) on my credit card, I am armed to face those blood suckers tomorrow! There will be a gigantic flea slaughter very soon! :fear:

i pay 220/mo for a 2 bedroom with 3 people. leaky shower, cramped space, tiny ass kitchen and bathroom, carpet is shitty as hell. my dvd player is from the 90s and doesnt have a pause button, our radiators kick on maybe once a week during the winter, and my most expensive possessions (aside from my laptop) consist mainly of smoking devices. Also, my brand new $600 dollar road bike got totaled when some idiot woman ran me off the road by running a red light while texting.

and i still struggle to make rent

    damn you real people

Pretty small, but I guess that's what stuff goes for these days. Congratulations on your purchase. I just moved into a new place myself for about the same price. Nothing like owning your own place.
