Why isn’t there such a gene as romantic horrors?
I dislike romantic comedy , not so much so a fan for romance (there are 1000’s of romantic books out there, all the best ones have pretty much the same ingredients). But romantic horror, alas, I am fully into them!
Corpse bride – the best sad romantic story ever put on screen.
Dawn of the dead – totally the greatest love story ever!
Silence of the lambs – How can you resist the chemistry between a highly intelligent, well mannered psycho and a hot, young FBI starlet?
My friends try to tell me those movies aren’t romantic. How can they be not romantic? Are the main characters not attracted to each other, have they not done extraordinary things other people would not do if they were not in love? Aren’t main characters of interesting personality and charming in certain ways?
Never mind the dark bit, the bloody bit and … the zombie, undead bit. If some gay vampire can be such a hot property in romance(am I the only chick who think Twilight is childish? :fear, then there should be a gene for romantic horror.
