So I listened to Coast to Coast last night and it sounds like the oil spill is planned to ' possibly ' have a solution placed in August that ' may ' stop it from continuing.

I can't fathom how much destruction this has caused, and honesty who gets rich off of this but 1 company and a few countries... who pays for this, all of us...

Yet another reason why to hate what's wrong with the world today

with the chemicals they're mixing in with the oil to disperse it, the chemicals are combining with the oil and evaporating.. guess what happens after that?

Was wondering why there have been no posts about this in here. Can't help but feel that if Bush were still president, there would have been an immediate thread as soon as it happened followed by 200 posts calling him an idiot.

I am not saying that it is any presidents fault, but rather simply a comment about the strong emotions that Bush evoked in this forum.

well it was Bush who left office and before doing uplifted the ban on off shore drilling, so its kind of his fault for allowing this to happen in the first place....

No speech abilities Bommer can give would help change this terrible atrocity, BP has sole access to specific areas of the clean up, has hired the fishing boats in the harbor to just sit there and not take news reporters out there to see whats really going on!

Hopefully Paris Hilton getting arrested in South Africa for smoking a jizzoint doesn't over ride this news story and sweep it under the rug

In other news, yeah Ephe you're right about that. Even the news is hardly laying the blame on Obama at all, whereas if Bush was president still he would have been crucified by now. Most people on here laugh at Wark when he talks about the liberal bias in the media, but you can at least see why he'd think that based on this event alone. It'll be interesting to see how long this fiasco A) takes to disappear from the media, and B. takes to be cleaned up.
