i seem to have aquired a copy of sc2 without paying. i can only play single player and i am fine with that. i think i just finished the campaignl. i would like to play single player vs AI but i have yet to figure out how to put downloaded maps into whatever folder i need to put them in to play them. once i get a computer with any sort of oomf behind it i will buy the full game. but yes. how unfortunate.
well i downloaded it and installed in offline mode so i can only play single player. i found it kind of just like every other game of the genre. i was really disappointed with the unit upgrades, 2 options per unit is just weak. its 2010 make some customizable shit! it wasnt good enough to buy just to try the online, im disappointed enough already.
however i love strategy games so i did like it and play through the whole thing lol
Ill-timed force will be ineffective; act with precision; timing is everything. Knowing where and when to strike is more important than strength; misapplied ability is disability. Unreasonable or undue force will defeat itself

gotta remember, wutang, this is part one of three parts. there's still a protoss focused single player campaign and a zerg focused single player campaign to come. and i'm sure blizzard will be tweaking existing units (and hopefully adding new upgrades/units too) along the way.
So... I finally started playing the campaign now in SC2... which I was hesitant to do because it was garbage in SC2 and Broodwar... but its fun as hell! I love how they made that whole "story mode" thing and you able to choose your missions and upgrade things with research, hire mercs, and upgrade armory etc. Blizzard did a good job with it.
I might even buy another SC2 game for the campaign when they come out now. I dunno... because that's a shit ton of money just for a small single player campaign... but... I haven't had this much fun in a game in a while.
As far as multiplayer, I'm still getting used to starcraft again, so I haven't gone online yet with it. I will soon though. I used to be so good with zerg in SC1, but now I feel so uncoordinated and slow with it. All these new units and tactics are fucking my old strategies up.
and... I miss the old days of 150 mineral spawning pool instead of this 200 mineral crap. This fucks my whole zergling rush up hardcore.
