Read that... it's illegal. I mean no one really cares, but it's technically illegal. Japanese copyrights are accepted in North America via international treaties (i.e. the WTO).

It isn't a "faggot ripoff"! It's more original than you think. Sure there are certain aspects that will make you think that the two are very similar but once you keep watching, you find that the differences are there and very apparent. You just got to be open minded. If you watched RAH XEPHON before NGE, then you'd think that NGE is the rip off until you find out that NGE was created before RahXephon.

But trust me, the differences are there. It's more original than you think.

Er uh sorry what I mean is that in general Anime companies don't prosecute for FanSubs because they realize that fansubs help their business as they show anime which aren't released here.

But it is still technically illegal, and fansubs have a habit of staying around after the show HAS been licenced when they are really hurting the businesses as a whole as it is pirating. Companies usually ask fansubbers to stop putting up the anime after it's licenced, and they do, but that doesn't stop the millions of other people who have copies already from distributing. And thus it goes against the policy of this forum to put those links up!

I wanted to see what The Designer posted but Epi edited it out. He edited it out because he thinks it's illegal and it is considered pirating, then continues to say that noone really cares. So what's the point of censoring it?

Yes ive seen em both and NGE was much better.. And sure alot of things was diffrent tho Rahxephon ripped off alot... It's not a bad anime tho if u seen NGE first i think it would be hard to ever rly like Rahxephon.

Check again. Epi quoted the part about Designer saying it's not illegal if it's not licensed in America. Epi just corrected that assumption.

Yah, NGE is better than Rah Xephon especially in originality but Rah Xephon has it's good moments.
