You are right about the fact that the youth are headed towards more conservative groups, and that is because that is how life is, the counter culture now is freedom of speech. Not being forced to to be careful with everything you say, and its fantastic. PCism needs to die and it is essentially headed that way right now. Religion is the primary storehouse of conservative values in almost every country, and has been for as long as there have been countries. Also, while Western libertarian conservatives vehemently defend free speech, being polite and respectful toward others is, generally speaking, one of their core values, as again, Christianity (or in some cases Judaism) is primarily what they're trying to conserve. There are very few secular conservatives.

I don't buy that the alt-right is attempting to conserve much. They seem more akin to the Obamabots, looking for Change/new values via a sort of father figure. Maybe you could help clear up what you mean by this.

Meditation can help.
