With regards to the Satan- Lucifer thing its interesting to note that almost 2000 years ago, it was believed that there was an angel of the name of Satan. His job was not particularly nice, he went around dishing up dirt against people to be used against them when the decision was to be made whether to send them to heaven or hell. While there was a belief in Lucifer, he was supposedly the demon who had been king of hell before the devil fell and took over. Belief has changed. Satan and Lucifer are now perceived as the same: the devil, yet neither was originally seen as such.

Here again is religion trying to scare you into submission. Zealots will tell you that this is your last chance. They'll say this life is your only opportunity into heaven. If God already wrote this story from beginning to end, which He has, where does our choice come in? It's not in this world. This world is the re-enactment of another time. This world is the physical version of an event that happened to the sons of God before they were incarnate. Where our choice comes into play is in the millennial kingdom where we'll have full knowledge of the truth and 1000 years to practice what we learn. It's in this time period that we will be judged on Judgment day.
Also with King James, the translators wrote a letter to the readers which recent copies have omitted. Why? Because it speaks of those in religious circles that like to confuse and pervert the truth.
Alright, here's my next gripe. So God decrees that man's lifespan will be decreased to 120 years. What? Even today, the average human lifespan is about 76 years. One hundred years ago, it was on the average of 49 years. One hundred years before that, people were steadily dying after age 30. Now, I know that you could make the argument that because we use the Gregorian calendar that the interpretation of "Bible years" (as you've pointed out in your interpretation of the creation story) is relative, but here it is again: the Bible has what seems like an arbitrary numbering system. 120? 76? 49? 30? Which one was he talking about? And if the numbers are arbitrary, why even include them at all?
Not everyone lived for hundreds of years. All mankind did not descend from Adam's lineage. How many generations does it take for a black family to produce a little white baby? Or vice-versa? How did the kangaroo and the koala bear get to Australia? Asian people look nothing like whites or blacks. Yet religion is trying to tell us they all came from Adam?

On the 6th day God (re)created humans; men and women. These were your hunters and gatherers. Adam is later incorporated into the mix. God had made Adam a physical man with heavenly attributes because Adam was to be the king & high priest for the world. He made Adam to be immortal. When the two were bannished from the garden, they were bannished from taking from the Tree of Life and thus became mortal. Meanwhile your average person was living just about as long as what science would tell us today.

God said to Adam, the day you take from the tree of knowlege of good and evil, that day you will surely die. 1000 years being a day to the Lord, Adam died just short of a day in heaven by 70 years. At Noah's time, with Adam's line being exiled from their divinely preserved homeland by a flood, their life-span was cut in half. Then, when the Accadians gathered to build the tower of babel, they weren't doing what the Lord had requested of them. Which was to spread out across the globe and civilize, colonize and educate the people on how to work the land and to inform them of the God of the universe. So with the confusion of tongues, the life-span was again cut in half. By Abraham, cut in half again. With each generation the cells within the body were decaying and becoming more like the average person. The transition for Adam's lineage from immortal to mortal was complete.

Numbers given in the Bible is another indepth study into God's deeper truths. The context around certain numbers are very similar. It's no coincedence.
And if angels are indeed aliens, wouldn't that mean that Satan (a fallen angel) is an... alien? I'm confused.
In the spiritual realm, spirit people aren't bound by physical boundaries. In fact, it would be possible for a rebellious, wicked little spirit to make physical illusions. As I was saying before; the true reality is the spiritual reality. This is just our day in court. Many rebelled in heaven during the days of Noah and left their place in heaven to dwell with mankind. They can manifest themselves either by apparition (spirit or ghost) or physically appear and look human... or alien. What-ever they want you to see them as, as long as you're bound by the physical, you'll see what they want you to see... Unless God intervenes and gives you the ability to see the illusion.
So now, we not only have a God that leaves out important details, but also one that fully endorses selective genocide? Doesn't that seem a little hypocritical? I thought God was supposed to be a loving and forgiving entity. Wouldn't it be just as easy to explain "The Word of God" (TM) to them and try to bring them back into the fold?
There was no saving these guys. They were evil to the core. If left unattended, they would have completely destroyed all the people of the earth.

That's odd, because the Bible says (in Revelations cir. A.D. 90 by John, beloved Apostle of Jesus in prison for his testimony on the isle of Patmos) Satan/Lucifer is bound in heaven by the archangel Michael. When Michael releases him, Lucifer and all his followers are thrown down on the earth. They're ejected out of the spiritual dimension and forced to spend their last days in the physical convincing the world that they're the prophesied host of angels that would accompany Jesus on his return. It's the false return. Instead of Jesus and the hosts of heaven, it's death and hades thrown down upon the earth.

I guess the Bible wasnt really in circulation at the time, hadnt been put together at any rate. Very few people would have known about Revelation anyway. Are there references to Lucifer/Satan, named as such, in the Old Testament?

You're right the book of the day was the book of Enoch. Jesus quoted much from the book of Enoch, so did Jude, the half brother of Jesus.
And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints..
Which is pretty much the same concept of my previous post.

How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! (Isa:14:12 - KJV)

What you're maybe not seeing, is that a lot of those same "antiquated" bibilical metaphors can be directly applied to many of today's modern millenium political scenarios! Anyone ever read Necronomicon? I found it a little interesting the old Babylonian Creation Story....hmm

On Sept 11 TWIN TOWERS go down... sort of hit me...

I then read Genesis 11 (TOWER OF BABEL)

                    Genesis 11:6:
"The Lord said, "If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them. Come, let us go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other."

                    Genesis 11:9:
"That is why it was called Babel --- because there the Lord confused the language of the world world. From there the Lord scattered them over the face of the whole earth."

Now I did some research, and the Tower of Babel was mainly built as a Tribute to the Babylonian God MARDUKE. I found this on some website talking about Wonders of the World... Hanging Gardens..etc

From the Genesis verses above, does this imply God is ANTI-NEW WORLD ORDER? I believe a New World Order will only occur when God actually comes down and sets us straight. Perfect Government will never be achieved by humans.

Anyways back to the Babylonian Creation or Gods story...

Tiamat - She was the original God...
Marduke - a son, that later stabbed her in the belly and thus the universe was created...

This story is long, and I can't remember it entirely... look around its on the web.

Anyhow I read that.. Tiamat (Is really the Earth) and Marduke is that 12 planet...that is now the asteroid belt.

Also read their was ancient races on Mars and Venus.... the Nephilim?? Who create humans to mine Earth for Gold...something along those lines.

The question again, "Are we doomed?".

I would be worried about ourselves than the universe destroying us. Because of the simple fact that we can't get along or communicate.. all it takes is a few nukes to go off and the world is doomed.

All I know is I only care what happens in the short term future... not 100 zillion years from now...

Curious, how did the people back then come to the conclusion or come to find out about your God? How did they know he/she/it/etc existed? Where did they hear about the God?

To me in the end, what will happen will be beyond what we could have ever imagined, or theorized. In the end the truth to our existance will be far from any idea we could have come up with.

Why? Because of human stupidity. End of story.

To me in the end, what will happen will be beyond what we could have ever imagined, or theorized. In the end the truth to our existance will be far from any idea we could have come up with.

Why? Because of human stupidity. End of story.
Beginning with Adam and Eve, they walked with God in the garden. After they were banned from the garden God still spoke with them. Soon after Cain killed his brother Able, God asked Cain where his brother was and Cain said, "Am I my brother's keeper?" Enoch not only walked with God, he got to go straight to heaven without experiencing physical death. God also visited Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Samuel, David, the prophets, the apostles and many more. They had first hand knowledge of God vocally speaking with them and appeared to some of them. God also told them starting with Adam to pass down the knowledge they got from God and the ministering angels to each generation. That's one of the reasons we have holidays.. i.e. Holy Days... Days God told them to remember each year.

The end has been written. It's what comes after the end.

I guess you could say it's like nirvana; where the soul unites with the Universal God.
As i've been saying, the true reality is the spiritual. This physical world as we know it is like a curtain concealing the spirit world. When Jesus returns, the Bible says the sky will roll up like a scroll. This is that curtain being lifted. Then we'll see everything and everyone the way they really are. The wicked will be revealed. For those that change without experiencing physical death, they will transform quicker than the blink of an eye into their new spiritual body. The Hindu's say that when the last soul is incarnated, then all will be joined with the Universal God. Although the Bible doesn't say clearly, I too believe that when the last soul is incarnated, the end of this physical world as we know it will end. Because, like i've said, we're on a journey from the corrupted first heaven to the new second heaven being filtered through this physical world. So when the last soul that is to be incarnated happens, there will be no one but the wicked left in the first heaven. At that time, God will take the wicked out of that realm, delete the first heaven, leaving those wicked souls no choice but to take form in the physical. This is when we'll see Death & Hades descending upon the earth instantly decieving a 4th of the world. That quarter will think he's Jesus followed by the hosts of heaven.
