  • Living in a sustainable world

I say fuck all those tree huggers. I love driving my big ass lincoln and getting 10mpg. So we aren't living in a sustainable world, who cares? all these hybrids and shit just means we run out of gas in 80 yrs instead of 40.

As long as there's a leading-life force on this planet, resources will be in a constant state of depletion. It's when these leading life forces are whiped out that the resources can begin to come back. We know that oil came from plants way back when...and with the water cycle and the cycle of certain elements, it'll probably one day be available to someone else, if the earth becomes suitable for another intelligent life form after us.

Are we running a "Dumbest Fucknut of the Forums" contest and no one told me about it? Jesus. Granted, the top three are already fighting tooth and nail for the title of "Le Grande Spermwaste", but man.

      I would've signed up bloodzombie.
Music and medicine, I'm living in a place where they overlap.

did u by any chance, just get out of AP environmental class?

i wish i had done more in that class. the teacher was a good guy, but he really didnt understand how to teach highschool kids. he lectured the whole bell, and was oblivious to what everyone was doing. the stuff might have been interesting if i had worked at all, but i was sitting by two friends and my lab group was even worse, all we did was talk and do shit on the computer. man though, did u ever have to read A Sand County Almanac? HOLY SHIT THAT WAS THE MOST BORING BOOK EVER. somehow the author managed to make it 10 times more boring that a the class's textbook, which is QUITE a feat. i picked it up and honestly i could not go more than 15 or 20 seconds without starting to daydream.

          yeah. sustainable earth.

it raises a pretty good question for debate though, should we keep helping people in third world countries by supplying them with food and stuff? all we are doing is enabling them to make more starving people... but if we didnt help them they would starve to death.

I pity you if you plan on going to any 4-year college. If you go to a community college...expect more High School BS, that's where I'm at..in fact, it's worse than high school.

I say we create a forum for all of the fucknuts, then restrict them to just that forum. We'll call it 'Musings of the Mentally Handicapped'.

That's old dude. People have known for a while about that, it's just a matter of making it economical and what not. I hear you actually run a diesel engine on vegetable oil.

wtf who drives a diesel? im not a 70 jears old granpa jet.

anyway, Greenpeace and WWF and stuff are natures worst enemy. imagine there would have been none of them. Climate may have been collapsed and the rainforrests may have been cut down by now. humans would die out or get at least reduced to some point and nature would be ok again in maybe 250 jears.
But how it is now, they are just buying us some time untill we humans invent something that makes nature redundant. than we can finally destroy it. gg greenpeace!

means we run out of gas in 80 yrs instead of 40.
Well if you ever read scientific journals you would know we have more like 15 years of oil left.

If we cant get hydrogen fuel cells running efficently soon we are pretty muched screwed.

If a man is given $100, he can spend $20 a day and run out of money 5 days later. Then he would be forced to find a job to sustain his spendings. He can also spend $10 a day, so $100 would last him 10 days. Then he would be forced for find a job.

Man's relation with nature resources is like the example above - the faster we use them up, the earlier we are forced to find a solution for the problem. As far as we have some resources left, we won't be dedicated to find alternative resources.

In my opinion, cheap petrol for now, also more research funds for finding alternative resources.

it's already extremely economical, but nobody does it. You can go buy an old VW or mercedes, do very minor modifications on it, and you can run it on french fry oil mixed with some chemicals that you can buy in bulk.
