?help Kashi is lagcheating

Well Mattey, my friend on Akua squad.. Influ lags a bit (he says his lag is legendary and it is... should check out his achoooo flight tactic). Well I asked him does he lag cheat and he told me no. Well aparently he has Shaw Cable Internet like me, and sometimes they work on the cable lines or lots of people use it.. so some people just might have congested connections and can't help it. He told me, that soon his connection will improve.

Also I asked Ardour, I fine twdd'er.. he won't be able to participate in TWL cause of his lag. Ardour told me he can't do anything about it, sort of sad.

Influ always told me you have to adapt to laggots, meaning its not smart ot rush a laggot..for example.

My friend Lil Critter got as mad as you too, one time he wanted to leave this game entirely cause of the lag problem, just so frustrating.

Very frustrating, especially when you shoot the laggot first and they should have died, yet they ate and shoot you dead. That totally undermines the game and gives credit to the laggot.

But I 100% agree with you about lag cheats, and awfully noble of you to try to point this out to staff. Unfortunately, you got banned cause wanted immediate results yet none came..only getting you more frustrated.

I'm sure alot of people will agree with you on this one, I sure the heck do... and banned 3 days over this..omg.. its like the innocent getted banned and the lagcheats prevail.

Noone seems to know that its just as hard to kill someone else when you lag :P. I lag. People say i eat. Yet, i must hit even someone with 30 ms 10 times before they die...so its just as hard for me at least, especially when you can screw up and have that happen.

One other thing...why do you call it an eat...they dont eat it(once in awhile a dud is shot)...they miss on their side, hit on yours....they cant blow up if they didnt get hit on THIER screen....just a thought...

You guys are missing the point and talking about something stupid. I don't care if it's harder to play with lag or not. That's not what this thread is about, if you want to talk about it go to one of the many threads that that is about.


I want to know what exactly is lagcheating according to staffers and if there are better criterion than "DURRRRRRRRR HE DIES HE CAN'T BE LABGKBGCHEATIN!G"

Yesterday our cram got broken by a spiker. They just run in, and the team can follow right after.

I use a 56k ok? If I lag I usually stop until my lag goes down, and I can see the other player's bullets again. But Lag cheaters are asy to spot because if their ping is over 300 then they are definately cheating. I cant even play if my ping is that high.

It's people like you who make me want to take back the over $300 Paladen donated to TW last year and the $400 we donated this year and the $17 per month we pay for web hosting service we don't even use.

Before you go trashing Paladen, maybe you should thank them for supporting this game you get to play for free.

I've been told by a group of mods that lag cheating is using any kind of program like lagtronic or using any kind of downloading program I.E Kazaa or a Bittorent client to cause an abnormal ammount of lag and using that to your advantage (I would guess not speccing when necessary would be the advantage).


He was probably talking about Matt's post Kj. Not to take any shots at Paladen but a long time ago it was pretty freaking easy to advance to staff through your squad. Beasty should know how the game works if she/he/it wants to stay on staff and if she/he/it wants to remain a viable part of TW staff for the comunity.

Hi Matty, I can see where you're coming from, but you can't stereotype a paladen member as bad staffers. They've had some good ones through the past. But yeah, they should have sent someone who knows what they're doing. Funny how they sent an <ZH>/<ER> perhaps thats saying something on how many mods need to be hired/rehired/promoted.
