As i understand it, you need 2 smod recommendations to get on staff.

Jason, undoubtably 1 of them was Pure_Luck ... whether he officially welcomed you to staff first or not is beside the point. Also, look at all the staffers on whiterabbits roster to try to understand: BLeeN, Jason <ZH>, malladrin <ER>, Pure_Luck, wadi <ZH>, Steph <ZH>, Rudy <ZH>, Cylor <ZH>.

That's 8 people from a roster of 30... i may have missed a person or 2 as well.

No ones really bitchin' about it, just pointing out the obvious really. It's just part of TW. Wherever the dean(s) of staff go, generally that's where you'll see the most likely next generation of staffers. Happened with Paladen, Pallies, Spastic, and whiterabbits. The only squad i've seen with a dean of staff on it recently that didn't have a lot of staffers was Weaver, on Rampage last year. But it dissolved shortly after he was promoted and guess where he went... Pallies.

It's not a negative or positive thing really, just another part of Trench Wars.

Was already on staff before she was in whiterabbits. So maybe staff likes to flock together, but she didn't get staff because she was in whiterabbits.

i've got a few ideas in mind to what new 'games' there cud be, but i wuddn't know where to start, thats is who to contact and permissions etc

i'm not really a good designer but i've got bit of an imagination

Try modifying a few maps to understand the controls. When you get use to the map editor try making some custom tiles and maps. Figure out what kind of game you want it to be and the need or limits on what a bot could do for the arena with the current modules or if you need one at all .

When you're finished contact Arilou Lalee'Lay, he is the Smod that deals with maps and arena settings. Map making isn't for everyone though, you need a lot of time a patience.

Edit: Also an extension of what Awesome said: Smods put people on staffbot, then they go around and watch the people to see (Either on aliases or on their smod name) if they're knowledgeable and or helpful, then give them a rating. The Deans PL and Pusher when needing a new ZH recruit off that list. This is old information about 3-4 years ago, it could be different now.

Do you think you're funny now? Paladen will only give you fun and joy. Sure some in Paladen are staff but that's because staffers are often mature and sick of squadhopping and want to settle in 1 squad.

i've got this idea:

'where everybody go?'

3 warbirds start off on there own with flags behind them and other warbirds have to get them.

sounds simple enough?

well first of all the 3 war birds only have limited sight and are stuck to the position. the other war birds have 3-4 secs to move, then they get stuck, while these wbs are stuck the 3 gaurding ones are aloud 2 shots each to see if they can hit anyone.

if anyone gets hit by the 3 they go to the side and have the same limited view as the 3 guarding ones but they can move around and shoot thru holes in the wall. the winners are the 3 who can get a flag back to base

I might increase the number of guarding wbs at start and make map a bit big
