I was talking with Cpt.Guano! earlier and I explained the situation to him..

My suggestion was:

To create a SquadBot. Each squad owner would type !signupsquad Name : Password
My idea is kinda whacked since I have no idea how to explain it.. i'll give you an example.

Xog> !signupsquad Xogsquad : SquadPassword
SquadBot> Squad has been registered for spam-proof.

Now that it's registered.. when this happens:
(Wound)> NEWB
(Wound)> NEWB
(Wound)> NEWB
(Wound)> NEWB

someone would do ?cheater Wound:Squad spam

Moderator would do:
?go #ArenaSquadBot is in
Moderator> !spamcheck Xogsquad
SquadBot> Squad being analyzed

And after the squad recieves a certain amount of spam over a certain amount of time, it will tell the moderator that the squad is being spammed by the prosecuter

I think that idea would be really hard to pull off. First of all, to get the squad message, you have to have the squadname beside your name in the squad section. This would mean that the bot would have to disconnect and reconnect to the zone in order to be able to see your squad's messages. The other alternative would be that every squad has their own personal bot, and I can't see that happening either.

Can we actually TRY to end squad spam instead of just let it be.. lets try and give some suggestions or ideas.. just give anything you think. Even if it's crazy, someone could think of that idea and have different ideas about your idea, and create even more.. and eventually we might actually have a real idea.. got the idea?

if you banned someone for spamming you or your squad through private messages, there's nothing stopping them from going to a different zone and doing exactly the same thing, that's why generally we try and stay away from private message bans
