This is a progression-thread .. try and think of some ideas to stop squad spam :/ ..

Then if you need to communicate to see someones Help at %coord message or something - or someone saying name @ 9 - only 2 lines can be seen - if more than 2 things need to be said youd have to hit esc and that shouldnt have to be done. Neither should 12 people online for a squad have to ?ignore someone. That and its damn impossible to type ?ignore Name(if its sorta long) without getting tkd - and one death can mean losing or winning a dd/jd.

As an example - ?ignore Mantra-Slider (I know you wouldnt spam people mantra but first sorta longish name i saw )

took me at least 2-3 seconds to type (not all can type 308945703498534 words a minute) thats long enough to be tkd.

There isnt many ways to stop it tho bc there is no way for staffers to know at that time if they are truely spaming u or not. I mean i can report u (xog) for spaming my squad and how are they to know? Unless u'd give the staffer the pw to ur squad/have a staffer on ur squad there are no real ways to find out, especialy since they dont use screenshots as proof.

yes cig I know that, but lets all just put our minds to this topic and try to think of something to stop it :/ theres gotta be SOMETHING.. like maybe uh.. having one of the programmers make it so that only squad members and mods+(for bot purposes) be able to squad message
and this is just off the top of my head, but it's a start.. and if theres anyone here that can further develope my idea please do so!

I think ur grabbing for a branch that isnt there The squad pm feature is useful in many ways for just regular players. I mean u very rarely get a person who spams a squad like that, it dont happen enough to change something. If ur looking how to stop it then simpley .?ignore him and make ur squad ignore him. Thats the only way to do it. If ur lookin to get him banned/in trouble u have to do what i said above.
