What's making someone a "vet" ??
Is it his time of playing this game ?? How many years ?? 3 ? 4 ? 5 ? 6 ? ...
Is it his leetness ?? He steps up every game and goes 30-5 in DD's or JD's or owns up a BD ??
Is it its being well known ?? If anyone mentions that name, everybody knows him ??
Is it its popularity ?? Every arena the vet enters everybody is like "Hey, mr. vet. How are you today, sir?" ??
Your a vet if you remember old squads like Siege and Scrotals Horde. Your a vet if you don't care about playing as much, but just come to chill and have a good time. Your a vet if you don't bitch and whine when you get killed. Your a vet if you remember when you did squad duels in ?go #DarkvsCripples
Your a vet if you remember when there was no baseelim. You are a vet if you remember Crown of Thorns. You are vet if you know who Bilbo the hobbit is. You are a if you used Subspace 1.35 to play. You are a vet if you say prtiik (or how ever you spell it) playing. You are a vet if you have to take breaks from the game. Your a vet if you wish you were playing in the times of 'yore and you are a vet if you were playing when -Final- and Paladen was created. Your a vet if you played in an event hosted by MikeTheNose. Your a vet if Elicit owned you in wb in elim. Your a vet if you help other players. You are a vet if you DONT spawn in games because you know how lame it is. If your a vet, your tight, end of story.
Note: I realized I was using 'your' instead of "you're" and am to lazy to change it now.
Wow, 'm a vet l337 y0
"There are those who said this day would never come. What have they to say now?" .Halo.
Y'know... if you were any stupider, I swear death by laughter would be a real medical occurance.
What was the point again in this thread? is there really any point here? Is this useless, perhaps pointless, what does it benefit me if I read this? What is the result of me reading this, will it be constructive material that I can use in real life? Will it satisfy my mind if I read all again?
What gives people the right to claim themselves to be better then others? What is the perpose of being "better, smarter and faster"?
Will you have a fine life if you are rich? So you have money? Now what? Buy a car? Die in a car accident? Was the life you lived in vein?
What is life really? You go to school, study to get good grade that gets you to have a good work, with a good work you can get cash, buy a house, have a wife, is that life? Someone tell me what is life exactly?
Some times I've wished that I never would have been born into this useless and pointless world. Perhaps I'm selfish.. who knows.. One thing that I do know is that I want to go "home", turn on my computer and do something totally useless, that doesn't even benefit me. I don't even know what benefits be, since everying in this world is useless. Whatever I do, it something useless. So what if I could save thousands of people having aids, would they be thankful? And would they learn their lesson? Who says that they won't go back to their old habbits and get aids again. What then?

In answer to many of these questions i suggest you go read some books... mainly based on two philosphers; Plato (aristocles) and socrates.
The stuff these guys did over a thousand years ago is amazing to read and it stopped me doing some bad shit back when i was having thoughts based similarly to your post.
Seriously go buy a book it's a great read even for those who aren't interested in philosophy.
A vet is when you go to college/university for a long time & learn how to cut the balls off cats & dogs, & how to put your hand up a cows ass.
PS. Hey Sel <3
Hello Denon it appears that you have not posted on our forums in several days, why not take a few moments to ask a question, help provide a solution or just engage in a conversation with another member in any one of our forums?
lol selsex give me a coupla days to fix my comp :P
I got all this dam spyware and half my programs aren't working, don't worry i haven't forgotten about you
Being a vet would mean that you know and understand the game, and it's community. You might get that 10-0 in duels usually, but if you never done TWL squads and don't know how to play in teams, or never flew anything else than the warbird, or never checked out any arena except the pubs, you don't know jack about the game.
Skill has nothing to do with earning the veteran rank.
Neither does time matter. One thinks there's only 'vet' '1337' and 'newb'. They forget there are middle un-named ranks, too. If you say you played 2 years, they say you're a vet when you've played 3 years. If you say you've played 5 years, they say 6 years.
The point is, one can learn the game and it's community in a matter of weeks, the other needs years.
When one is a 'veteran', however, you get to know people. They get to know you. Your name slingers around. You get a 'reputation'.
This doesn't determine wether you're a veteran or not.
The term 'Veteran' is a term almost no one in Trench Wars understands.
You don't know, 'till you've seen the opposite.
